This remote was exactly what I needed to replace the one that came with my Samsung Frame TV. Setup was quick, and it works smoothly with the TV—voice controls included. It feels responsive and has been a solid replacement so far.My only regret is not choosing the solar-powered version. This one does the job well, but the solar option would have been more convenient and saved me from dealing with batteries. Still, a great replacement remote overall.

Excellent replacement remote especially for the older Apple TVs (black remote). Only downside is it is NOT Bluetooth so if two Apple TVs of any gen are too near, you accidentally control both. Some clever placement can help.

I was pleasantly surprised by this remote...very often these things don't work or not as you'd want it to work. However, simple is always better, I guess. The remote came with setup codes to pick from per your unit and also very simple instructions. Also, for me, the remote worked immediately with my T.V. For my VCR, all I did...believe it or not...was read the instructions and follow them using the direct input mode instead of auto-search...which I would recommend. 5 minutes later, I've got this one remote that operates perfectly both my T.V. and VCR. Couldn't be any happier with this universal remote, how it works, easy to setup, and would recommend it to anyone needing to rid yourself of most or all other remotes in your life.

Handling the original LG remote felt like trying to do aerobics just to change the channel. That "Magic Cursor" was a masterclass in ergonomic frustration, refusing to turn off and leaving me at the mercy of a tiny scroll wheel that loved making accidental selections.By contrast, using this replacement remote is pure bliss!You can actually pick it up and press a button without a rogue cursor darting wildly across the screen. Even better, you can hit the Select button without the menu unexpectedly scrolling up or down on you.It is an EXCELLENT value and a massive quality-of-life upgrade for any fellow TV aficionado!

Roku replacement remote control works great, but it does not have an on/off button for Roku so you have to turn off your TV manually. I purchased this particular remote since it said it was for Roku Express, Roku Premiere, but not for a Roku TV. I do not have a Roku TV which is why I use the Roku Premiere. This particular remote did not have to be programmed, it was plug and play, but you can program your Roku remote to use with your TV and my previous remotes controlled my TV and Roku so I did not have to use the TV remote.

As long as the company will always manufacture this device I guess I can share the good news. Maybe I should just stock up now because what!!! I didn’t have to program anything!!! I just put batteries in and it automatically worked for my Samsung tv and apple tv box. When I tell you I fell in love at first sight! Omg easy as pie!

I’ve literally only had this remote for five minutes and I already love it. It is a thousand times better than the idiotic fancy “smart” remote that came with the TV. The two features I hated the most about the OEM remote were the unbelievably annoying track ball in the center of the select ring (I don’t know what else to call it) and the equally annoying laser pointer function. The track ball was SO sensitive that it took greater effort and concentration to NOT activate the tracking function when all you wanted to do was press the button. And the stupid laser pointer would just randomly activate and force you to take extra steps to turn it off. There was never an occasion where I chose to use either of those so-called features intentionally, because they are of no use to me and do not make the TV any more enjoyable to use. Both were terrible and super annoying and made using the remote an exercise in frustration. Why do manufacturers think consumers want these stupid “smart” features that don’t even work the way they should? Save yourself the annoyance of the dumb smart remote that came with your TV and use this SIMPLE one instead. It works exactly the way a TV remote is supposed to and it doesn’t do other stupid stuff it’s not supposed to do. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy this one and stop using the horrible one that came with the TV.

Voice recognition is not working well. Better go for original . Volume button s not working. Not recommended.

Junk. Didn't work for the Roku Express

Look it isn't the same as the original Google one, but when that goes through the wash, what can you do! We ended up with 2 as 2 remotes for different tvs broke at the same time. Still working years later!
