Replacement for Google-Chromecast-Remote, for Chromecast Google TV Remote

Worked immediately on my LG TV and Apple TV! Happy to find a cost effective alternative than purchasing a new original Apple Remote. I’m glad I bought it. It does take batteries but that’s ok I actually prefer this instead

This was a great purchase, i was slightly afraid of how hard it would be to install but it was super easy and worked seamlessly with our LG TV, Apple TV and sound bar system

Had to replace my Gen3 Apple TV remote (A2854) and this worked with no setup, just 2 batteries. Works way better than the original Apple remote, which is unusual. Old remote used to hop 2 steps ahead when navigating, and had to charge it every few months on a cable. This one takes 2 AA batteries and I prefer that. Also, buttons are a lot easier and smoother to use than original remote. Also its lighter (plastic) which I prefer. A+++

I only needed to be able to turn up the volume on our sound bar. I don’t use any of the other buttons, so that should be taken into account. That said, it paired easily and probably would do everything else if we actually had our system hooked up properly and needed the remote for more than volume.

Not as reliable in operation as the original, but OK for the price. This one must be pointed right at the Chromecast for the infrared receiver to receive its signal across the room. Buttons are not as positive, sometimes requiring two presses to get one command to the TV. Battery life is excellent, still using the original set. Don't pay double for the Google replacement unit, this one works fine.

The remote works for about 90% of the functions it was purchased to replace the actual OEM remotes. It works pretty good for an older Sony LED TV and misses one useful function for Direct TV Genie remote - the ability to delete multiple saved programs. Each saved or recorded program has to be deleted one at a time using the open and fast forward to the end to get the delete function. For my older stereo Technics receiver it is only able to turn the receiver on and off and have not found a code to make it work for all the other functions. Assume it would work at 100% for newer equipment.

Works as advertised. I lost the old remote and this one is a perfect fit. Buttons work very well and its a very good replacement. Very happy with my purchase. Doesn't feel cheap either, in fact its like oem.

The Apple Remote functions work with line of sight to AppleTV 4k. It has inner and outer ring like the newer Apple tv remote but obviously no track pad (good!) and no microphone (bad).But volume controls only work on 7 different tv brands. And will only work on a receiver hooked up to one of those TVs and with CEC turned on as part of eARC.In a room where I lost the apple remote has a LG tv which is supported through CEC. So the mute and up down volume works for my (denon) receiver, which is good.All of the above is included in the product descriptions, except anything about controlling a sound bar or receiver volume control. In this case, your tv and receiver must have HDMI CEC turned on through an eARC hdmi port.What’s not specifically mentioned which I think is important is that the remote cannot be “programmed” to work only on the tv you want it to work on. If you have multiple tv brands in the same room, the power and volume buttons will be operational on all line of sight supported brands simultaneously.For most people, this is meaningless information because they don’t have multiple TVs in the same room.The power button turns off the tv, and everything else like your tv/soundbar thanks to CEC device control through HDMI pass back. But since this remote works on multiple TVs, if I press power it will toggle the power of any supported tv with line of sight. (Bad for a handful of folks)Still, mostly it’s actually an improvement upon Apple’s original remote except the lack of Bluetooth and voice commands, which I did use with my now lost AppleTV remote. For the money, obviously it’s not going to have Bluetooth and a trackpad like the original. This is a bargain device but one with improved push button functionality over even the newest Appletv4k remote for those of us who hated the ergonomics of the original remote.

La descripcion dice que aplica para varios modelos de Roku express, en el modelo que tengo no funciona,llego con una semana de anticipo a lo prometido.
