Looks decent on my antique wood desk- and changed it into a convertible sit/stand desk
This desk converter sets up instantly, adjusts easily, and stays at the desired height. I have a lot of vintage furniture with a traditional dark wood finish and I was concerned that the converter would look too industrial (never mind that there's a laptop computer on top of the thing, those get a pass) While the laminate top is not fine furniture, the dark color and wood grain blends in with the style of the desk. It easily fits a large laptop or a keyboard and small to medium sized monitor.

Sturdy for the price. Great for work-from-home.
My home desk is my dining room table and this is a great ergonomic upgrade. Nearly as sturdy as the $$$ one I have in the office. The mechanism is solid, and it doesn't jiggle when it's upright. The medium walnut stain is pretty -- matches the real walnut table it's sitting on quite well.

Great functionality, with a word of caution
The desk is well made. The only issue is the ergonomics in the lowest position for sitting. Your wrists without a arm rest, will likely not be flexed in a position that isn't healthy. Otherwise, if you have the right chair and arm rest, you should be okay from an ergonomic position. Great that it has a variety of heights to accomodate different sizes of folks.

Wow, I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase! It elevates like a dream, so effortlessly! If I could suggest one minor improvement, it would be fantastic if it allowed you to choose the desired level.

Great topper for those not sure if they want a topper
Really happy and impressed with this product, looked at many, purchased this one and glad I did. Can still use my desk comfortably even when at lowest position and sitting. Gets high enough when standing, so I don't need to bend over/stand in an awkward uncomfortable position

Excellent purchase! I have been working from home and wanted a sit to stand desk that looks nice. This desk is it! I bought the wooden looking desk. It looks very nice on top of my current desk. It is very stable and raises and lowers very easily. So far it’s definitely worth the purchase!
