Whats the difference between 1665S model vs 1666S

Crutchfield has a direct comparison. One difference that might affect you is the 1666 is 1/16" larger than the 1665. Also the 1666 has a treated cloth woofer surround while the 1665 is just cloth. The 1666 is a little more sensitive, so it will respond better at lower volumes...but marginally. The 1665 however gets lower into the base, starting at 35 hz as opposed to 40. Otherwise they are identical.
