Decent building set with some serious drawbacks
The Pros:(1) These Lego-compatible sets are improving. A couple years ago I experimented with a Lego-compatible set and it was awful: Some bricks failed to stay together, other bricks couldn't be made to fit onto complementing pieces. The plastic was shoddy and the build designs were awful. This set is a great improvement on those poor substitutes. Pieces fit together. Not as firmly as the name brand, which really produces a satisfying "snap" when pieces fit together. But the current set is comparable.(2) The instructions are easy to follow. (Again, not as easy as the real deal, but comparable.) Additionally, the set is divided into numbered bags, which makes assembly much easier.(3) It's a great value for the money. Not nearly as expensive as its name-brand counterpart. The Cons: (There are some major cons.)(1) The first time we ordered this, we were missing an entire bag. Instead of the second "Bag 1," there was an extra "Bag 7" (which turned out to be a duplicate of an existing Bag). There were also two of the exact same Bag 6 instead of two different Bags labeled "6". In other words, it was impossible to build the set that arrived.(2) We ordered a replacement set. The replacement set had all the correct bags. But over the course of putting the set together, we discovered at least three or four missing pieces. We have enough existing name-brand pieces to supplement the current set and complete the build, but we felt a bit let down. (For what it's worth, we have a lot of Lego sets and have never before encountered a missing piece.)(3) The builds aren't as sturdy and elegant as Lego. There were a handful of occasions when the structure we were building simply collapsed. This just doesn't happen with our previous name-brand sets. Those latter builds are so expertly designed, it's really astonishing. In short, as unreasonable as it would be to expect the same level of quality from this Lego-compatible set as one would with the name brand, I would still advise anyone to tread cautiously here. The first package with the missing and duplicated bags was a serious problem. Outside of these quality-control issues, however, the final built set is a great toy and the bricks are close enough to the name brand products to make this a really good deal.

Awesome for those Lego military loving kids
My kiddo wanted battle bricks which were a bit more than we wanted to pay. I came across these and they are perfect they fit with lego, and give him that battle brick want without the battle brick price!

Awesome set
My son (7) loves this great set! Many options and use of creativity and for those that love building. Use their imaginations and then nice to have a container to store it in also.

So many tiny pieces!!
The amount of blocks for the price is great but there are so many tiny pieces and accessories that my son quickly got bored trying to put it together. Everything comes in individually wrapped plastic bags and the directions are easy to follow for a 7-8 year old. I do like that it comes with a bucket for storage and the lid can be used to build blocks on top of it.
