BIG HIT
BIG HIT in our cardboard-box-play friendly household. Tools and bolt/nuts are sturdy and work well for feeding cardboard builds. And so much less tape is being bought- ha!

Fun way to create
Great product. Grandson loved being able to cut through the cardboard and using the connectors. Fun and easy way to try something new and creative. Price was a big plus.

Great product
We just moved and had a lot of boxes that my kids wanted to make a fort with. These were the perfect additions they helped them create smaller section stores and to just stabilize the bigger structures. Great tool to have

Safety Concern
While my son as well as myself love this kit (an I especially love the price compared to other brands) I initially bought as one of my sons presents for his 5th Birthday (Nov 30th) well it came in yesterday (overnight shipping so it came very fast which is a plus) an I caved and let him have it as an early birthday present since him an I are always doing crafts together & specifically have been trying to build a Cardboard PlayhouseLet me start off by saying I love the quality of the saw hole poker an even the screws, bolts, & brackets But the wrench & screw driver are a bit on the cheap side so critique#1 is I wish they were a similar quality like the saw & poker instead of the screwdriver & wrench (especially the wrench) made with a cheap plastic material that’s identical to the ones that come in just about every kids tool set technically my son didn’t even need those two tools as he has at least a dozen from the many kids tool sets Ive bought him in the past#2 This is by far my biggest concern as it is a safety issue it’s hard to cut with the saw as you have to hold the cardboard in one hand and cut with the other which poses a huge safety risk my son was cutting away while I was supervising him an as he’s holding the cardboard in his Left hand & using the saw to it in his right the saw starts angling an before we know it he says I just cut myself an I look (it’s on the hand thats holding the cardboard) sure enough he has a cut that looks similar as a paper cut but a little deeper, I put a bandaid on it an he takes a break from it later on yesterday we are playing with it together an I do the same thing I didn’t notice the saw was angling instead of cutting straight down like I had startedSo that’s definitely something I wanted to point out for parents to be aware of especially since the saw is advertised as safe as it’s mentioned multiple times in the description & picsI would love to see maybe a cutting glove designed for little hands included in the kit (as now I have to purchase one separately if I can find one to fit him if not I have to come up with another idea) or something else to keep the piece of cardboard you’re cutting stationary so you don’t have to hold it with your free hand exposedOther than the issues mentioned above we totally love this set especially for the price and we look forward to finally use these cardboard tools to help us finally complete his cardboard playhouse just wanted to put this out there for any parents who were maybe thinking the saw was like the kid safe knives so they’d be awareP.S.A- before anyone comes for me (since my son is not even quite 5yo yet) he has been interested in tools of all kinds since he could play with toys he’s also very aware for his age an understands the importance of safety as I’ve instilled it in him not just with tools but with anything that I teach him or he thinks could pose a risk when he was almost or was 3yo he liked helping me prepare & cook dinner so I bought him a kid safe knife set with serrated blades (they are spaced further apart than the saws serrated blades tho) he's used them numerous times from then and still currently uses them now an has never accidentally cut himself imo it’s nearly impossible to cut with those (so I assumed the saw would be similar to those especially with the product stating “kid safe serrated saw” ) & last year right before turning 4 I bought him his very own power tool a real kid’s electric drill and his first real tool set complete with hammer nails etc & so far there has not been no cuts, bangs, or boo-boos of any kind as result of any of them

Tons of fun!!
My kids ages 4-12 played with this set and made all sorts of things with our Amazon delivery boxes from Christmas. They all absolutely love it. You definitely do have to be careful- everyone who used the knife- including me- cut themselves at least once.

Dangerous for kids
The item looks safe but it’s absolutely dangerous for kids. My 7 year old used it to cut cardboard to make a bus, she accidently cut her left index finger because the way she held the box, in less than 5 seconds, blood gushing out where we had to take her to emergency

Inspiration
This was an awesome toy! We have made so awesome creations of box city holding lego and hot wheels. It's helps my son's creativity and get off the technology.
