This works great to keep the crawl space warm to keep my plumbing from freezing.
I used this to keep my plumbing from freezing not for reptiles, and they work great they're more durable than a light bulb and you can actually touch them and not scald yourself and raise blisters. But it did a great job radiating heat to keep my plumbing from freezing and once we got to like 15 below so they do work I have one in my well house and I also have one in a crawl space and both of those spaces stayed perfectly unfrozen even during minus 15° weather. Do keep in mind that those spaces are insulated that I had these in, but they weren't heated from the house at all because the house didn't have heat at all. The only heat that this plumbing got was from these elements and it worked perfect

Warms my chicken coop in the winter
I use these bulbs inside my chicken coop to keep my chickens warm in the winter. I have it in a metal light hood and up high above the chickens but it radiates enough heat to break the cold and they love it. On the coldest days they will stay in the coop under the light rather than go outside.

Lasts lang, very good quality!
The media could not be loaded. I love this product! It is affordable, lasts long, and performs great. It keeps both of my snakes enclosures at a good 85-90 degrees.

Decent heat fixtures for the money
I used three of these to heat the enclosure for my 24 year old ball python. These lights typically last for me about a year to a year and a half. They are run every day, except for two of the summer months. The only thing I don’t like about them is that the conductive tip on the end of them usually ends up, melting flat due to the excessive heat. This causes them to break off, which makes the bulb non-functionable. Finally please tell me.

Works well!
I use it for my bearded dragon at night.

These get warm
Warm but only 100w so you may need to get them close to what you are heating or rig something up for air flow to push the heat down. Use a ceramic outlet for safety reasons as the plug does get hot.
