I went on an all night tuna trip and there were squid all over the place. While the tuna bite was slow I caught several dozen squid with these. I started with green and noticed another guy doing better with pink. I switched to the closest color I had to pink and started catching more. They do work just as well if not better than what everyone else used. Very nice for the money. I did notice that they are covered with some sort of fabric which seemed to come loose on one of the lures. It still caught squid that way.

Bought for my in-laws in the Philippines and they are having a ball Catching Squid at night with these. Great for the Price. If you been reading my Reviews on what i purchased and sent overseas to catch food for my family. These items do Really Great... As of this writing, my family have caught several squid from using these hooks. I would buy these again.

The package looks good, however the large ones are a little bit too big, pretty much useless. If they are glowing in the dark, it must be very dim because it is invisible to my eyes.

Look great! They almost float, horrible for squid fishing. Most squid jig's sink quickly, which is imperative. These particulars with jigs take 30 or 40 seconds to hit the bottom in 20 ft of water. If I wanted floats I'd have gone out and bought bobbers.I would suggest continue looking find something else because these just aren't anything that are going to function for you if you're a real squid jigger.

These lightly-weighted jigs come in fairly large sizes from about 2.5" to almost 7". They are some sort of lightweight solid core with a printed fabric stretched over. I had my doubts about how long the fabric would hold up, but it's doing okay.Nobody had seen anything like these on the pier, but they work just fine as top jigs on a two or three-jig line above a traditional basket-type lure. Definitely not suited for use without a weight below.The best part is that the jig body under the fabric actually will charge under blacklight and glow for you, which is a really nice feature at this price range!They're a bit large for market squid, though, and Humboldts are not caught on light lines with jigs, so I'm not sure what to do with the giant ones.
