Great bit of kit
Fantastic bit of kit everyone should have with them when out in the hills

As good as higher priced options.
Brilliant. Good quality, lightweight, enough space and stood up to summer downpour.I remember my school hillwalking club had one of these in the 90s and it was pretty heavy and pricey. In contrast, this product is very well priced and seems good quality. It's meant as an emergency option, kept upright by body shape so isn't going to be a comfortable shelter for a long time but that's not the point of it.We've fitted 2 grown-ups and 3 kids in it with space in the middle of it for bags. 3 grown-ups would be feasible, 4 would be cramped: ok for a brew and a snack but not for much longer.Stuffs into an integrated stuffsack, which becomes the vent when opened out. The stitching on that is a bit ragged so might become a weak spot.

Emergency shelter
Basically a bag with no base that you pull over yourself and sit on to hold it down. Have only tried it out in the house so far, to see how easy it is to pull over yourself and another person to provide a temporary shelter. The answer is that it is pretty easy to put in place and fits two adults - haven’t tried it with just myself in it. There is no ground sheet as such so you need to sit on the floor placing yourself on a couple of flaps to pin it to the ground, and that in itself isn’t particularly comfortable but I guess this is only for emergency use when you need very short term emergency shelter - in that sense I am sure it will do the job it is designed for. I haven’t tested out its windproof or waterproof qualities. It packs away quite compactly and is light so easy to put in a backpack.

Easy to use, good product
Ww bought this for a cold wrather walking trip with our toddler. We didn't need it alfresco this time, but did test at home. Good size for 2 aduts (we're both about 5'7") with plenty of room to spare.the srat flaps keep you off the wet ground, and help weigh it down. I read some negative reviews, but a reminder that this is a survival shelter, not a tent. It's designed to use the people inside as structure to hold it up & the bottom is mostly open to the ground apart from seat flaps. We found this a great value product and would recommend.

Looks as though it should work well.
Arrived on time. Looks as though it will be fine. Haven't tried it in the rain yet but it fits 2 adults well and you could squeeze a 3rd in.

Fine did what i wanted it to do - tried it in the bad weather in February in snowdonia, fitted 4 in (tightly) - warmed up really quickly.
