Very nice. Will use for childrens moments during Christmas.They were quite tight. I used my nail file, just a little, to help them to separate better. Keeping Christ in Christmas! Thanks.

We gave this to my husband for Father's Day, since his "spirit animal" is a monkey :) He loved it! The nesting dolls are larger than I expected, but they are painted correctly - no weird mistakes or anything. The wood is smooth and all of the pieces fit. The cutest part is the bunch of bananas at the center! This makes a really great gift for those who love apes, orangutans, monkeys of all kinds. Great on a desk or mantle for display, and fun to take apart put together when you're bored or thinking something over.

Firstly, these are not meant for smaller children. It would be lovely if they were - but they are more geared towards an adult or an older child maybe 6 + ---- definitely not meant to be handled as often as a small child might and if you happen to have twin toddler --- you'll know as soon you open it that the material is NOT going to stand up to the rigor of toddler exploration.That said, there is NOTHING in the description of this product that says these are meant for children. So, its not the manufacturers fault that I purchased these for my kids, its not really anyone's 'fault' --- truth be told. I follow a YouTuber who bought them for her kids so I wanted to try them out for my tiny humans. Seemingly, my two princesses are tiny beasts because this sort of thing just wouldn't stand a chance.Regardless, one of the ears come broken and I thought to myself this would actually be quite the chocking hazard for a smaller child that is in that phase of putting everything in their mouths and has not gotten to the place where they understand "ha la boca, no!" (Spanish for: "...not to your mouth").Additionally, we had to try them out - so we did - and had similar issues pulling them apart and once they came apart they would not stay together -- it wasn't a tight enough fit to say...pick the item up by the "upper panda" --- it would just slip apart - the same for many of the inner animals. However, these are supposedly hand made so these imperfections would stand to reason, really.Lastly, I did find them a wee bit pricey but not enough to not buy them again in the future. I have saved this item in my wish list --- when my girls are older and we are covering animals as part of schooling or if they really like animals --- and what kid doesn't, right? -- we'd buy them again. This manufacturer has several other sets which are equally as neat.

My almost 2 years old loved this toy!!!! At first everything was great.. the dolls were in good condition. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and the panda no longer closes, the gorilla is cracked, and the leopards paint has chipped. My son played with this (with supervision because of the small pieces) probably every other day for 15-20 minutes and without throwing or rough play. It still works, but kind of useless since the panda has become loose somehow. I wish it lasted a bit longer.. I feel I wasted my money.

great addition to my nesting doll collectiom

The five piece set is pretty cute but, it really bummed me out to see that the antlers on the moose are made of felt rather than wood. The moose is the largest of the set and everything else goes inside of that so, why wouldn’t the antlers be made of wood?

I bought these for my granddaughter. I started a collection of nesting dolls and give her a set each birthday. The ocean themed set is very cute and well crafted. It looks just as described.

These dolls are really beautiful and look lovely. If buying for decoration I highly recommend.I bought this for my toddler to play with but the connections are so stiff even I cannot get them open once closed. We tried to lubricate but this didn't work and the panda's ear was broken. The other ear broke off soon after.

Bought for a toddler for Christmas. Nice stocking filler. Great learning toy. My 2 year old loved the figures and putting them back together. Great way to understand the nativity next year without having to buy a figure set! Good for all year round too. We’ve simplified the dolls into mummy daddy baby king and shepherd. Great for a toddler but did catch the baby doll in his mouth... so not to be left unattended. But item as described. Painted gorgeously. Highly recommended.

This product arrived damaged with the whale scuffed and packaging stuck to it as if it had been packed before being dried properly which was very disappointing. I couldn’t exchange it but had to go through returning it. The penguin also had not been painted as described on the box and so the quality control wasn’t there unfortunately. It was a lovely item in principle but didn’t match expectations and so sadly this set was not value for money

Beautifully painted and quite charming. The larger two 'dolls' we're very difficult to open at first, but repeated efforts loosened them very quickly. There are instructions for opening difficult dolls inside the box. The set is quite compact, the largest (panda) doll being only 6" in height. A lovely gift.

Nice item. Only fault was the ear on the panda was broken but managed to sick it back on hence the 4 star
