Edelweiss Seeds
Took a little longer to arrive but was still within the delivery time. The Jiffy bag arrived with a Polish stamp on itand a small re-sealable plastic bag inside containing the seeds. The instruction sheet was generic and not specificto Edelweiss. The relevant information, however, is displayed with the product on this site, so it's no problem, althoughI did think that they may consider including it as an inkjet copy. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so to speak, and I'll have to wait till spring before I plant them. So I can'tpass any comment on the seed quality until then.Update: I planted them in a seed tray on my windowsill a couple of weeks ago and they are now germinating quitenicely. The seeds are minute and the sprouts likewise small. About half (60 or so) have so far germinated - morethan enough for my requirements. We have plenty of large well-stocked garden centers in my area but none of themstock Edelweiss seeds or plants. It seems you can't buy them for love nor money.I'm, therefore, very pleased that these are germinating. Not sure when I'll move them outdoors as it's been a verycold spring and everything seems a bit delayed. I'll report back on that.Update May 2014 - I planted them out last year, they grew but didn't flower. In winter they seemed to die off but Iread someplace that I should not disturb them. Good job I didn't. They've grown back better than ever and are nowproducing beautiful flowers. Pity they don't seem to be available from this supplier at the moment.

The seeds arrived earlier than expected which was great, I haven't yet planted them, but am looking forward to having Edelweiss growing in our garden once again. Thank you
