Nice DVD player. nothing fancy but has nice features.
Nice inexpensive DVD/RW, with SD ports. Works just fine. DVD player is a bit noisy. Very light weight so recommend non slip pad or Velcro with adhesive to secure it on shelf as it moves around when opening and closing the drive..

It works
After 13 years, I replaced my HP desktop computer with a new HP computer. The new computer didn't have a DVD/CD writer, something an old guy like me wants, so I ordered this one to use until the warranty expires and then I'll install a DVD/CD writer in the computer. The unit is plug-and-play. It comes with an 11-inch cord with an USB Type A and a C-connector so you can plug either one into the unit's two USB ports or C-connector. The user guide is a small book with small print so unless you have good eyesight you might need a magnifying glass. I found a user guide online that wasn't much longer or more helpful online. Basically, using the unit is intuitive. The new computer didn't show the unit on the screen like the online guide said it would so I went to File Explore and found the drive it was listed under. It was easy to copy files to the unit and burn them to a disk. The unit has three slots to receive a USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB-C and an SD adapter for a micro SD card. I haven't tried these features but eventually I will.Pros: Simple plug-and-playCons: User guide should have more information on how to use the unit.

Horribly slow.
Horrible. Really really really slow. Didn't get to use it much. But when I do, it is very frustrating. Slow. And many customers and dvds did not run. They are old, but run fine in other players. Does not burn properly, video skips. Unfortunately my return window closed 3 days ago. All around disappointed.

I sent it back because I found my old one and I didn’t need this one anymore. Nothing wrong with it, I never even took it out of the package
