Perfect OEM replacement
I bought this for a 2010 Chrysler town and country. The real nice thing was this is a plug and play sensor, no need for any programming just takes about 10-15 miles of constant driving to learn the new sensor.Worst part about replacing these sensors is that unless you have a tire changing machine you will need to take it to a mechanic shop to have them install it.Will buy again if another sensor goes bad.

Save Time and Frustration, get the Right Part. -long review hope it helps
The frequency for this sensor did not work with my 2009 Chrysler T&C. Tire pressure was read by the computer, however a tone would sound and the car display would read TPMS SYSTEM. First mistake I made was leaving the old TPMS sensor in the car’s rear wheel well where the jack stand is. TPMS Sensor manufactures or vendors should instruct the buyer not to leave the old sensor or other sensors in the car. 20 plus years owning and driving cars in NYC, this is the only car where I experienced valve stems cracking. The stock valve might have been made of plastic. The Tire Technician said it was aluminum. I have had some success just replacing the valve step on two sensors. Technically I have had no problems with the stock sensors only I needed to put air in the tires and the tip of the stem was cracked off. So first I replaced with a new stem but the ground was broken off ($10.00 labor) at the local tire patch & plug shop. leaving the new sensor in the car rear wheel well where the jack stand is (if you have a Dodge Caravan or VW Routan this spot is just to the left when you open the tail gate). This was also the location of the tire where the sensor was replaced. So I was getting the error (TPMS SYSTEM) for a week. figure this is being caused by the broker ground on the old sensor so I take it back to the tire guy to install the Dorman 974-061, the problem persists. Called Dorman and they suggest leaving the cars key fob in the ON for 20 minutes, then starting the car and drive it above 15 MPH for 20 minutes. This didn't work. To sum up, bought the valve stem replacement $9.50, bought the Dorman 974-061 $27.00, finally worked when I purchased the VDO SE10004A REDI-Sensor 433.92 Mhz $35.50. Amazon refunded me $22.00 for the Dorman, wish they would have picked up the return shipping since it was a prime item. In the past I bought replacement key fobs from AMZN with similar types of frequency issues. Called the vendor and they were able to send me the correct fob based off of the serial number on the old one. If you only have 2 key fobs for your van I would suggest you get a third. It’s a $50.00 investment, but if you lose one of you key fob or if it drops or brakes on concrete/asphalt the dealer cost for replacement & programing could exceed $300.00. Would also check the compatibility of the part with the vendor. You can get original part numbers from the dealer with the VIN and ask the aftermarket vendor if it is a good fit. Became frustrated with the Dorman part, but could not find the original part from Mopar, end up ordering the more expense with good reviews VDO SE10004A REDI-Sensor 433.92 Mhz. The tone stopped and TPMS SYSTEM does not appear on the dashboard.

Much cheaper than the dealer
Have been using dorman products for years. The dealer price on an "oem" tpms is around $78. These are about $25 and i have them installed on my 2 minivans. Usually they are immediately recognized by the computer & the tpms light goes out on my instrument cluster. If the light does not go out immediately it will go out within a couple of miles.Update . I now have 16 of these units installed on my wife's & my grand caravan rims. We run studless ice tires during the winter & these are mounted on their own separate rims. Saves me $160 tossing tires around on rims for 2 grand caravans.( that's 8 rims x $20 per tire swap) The only issue that i encountered with these units was when the tire dealer mounted my summer tires on the the new rims that i had purchased, He didn't check the tire pressure on the tires & i had the low pressure light on the dash. When i got home ,i checked the tire pressure on the tires & found 2 tires with low pressure . I simply added air to the tires & the dash light went out. Tire dealer's fault, not the dorman tpms fault.

Perfect Replacement for the OEM TPI 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Was perfect and exactly placement for the OEM tire pressure monitor sensor in my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee didn't require any programming replaced it with the broken old one and in a few minutes the sense it was picked up by the computer and the tire pressure light went out! OneNote if you get the old one back from the installer throw it away immediately! Because if you keep it in the car for any length of time the computer will not find a new one it'll keep reading the old one that you just took out and because it's not even in the tire it's going to read low tire pressure you got to throw it away! This is a very important Point believe it or not! I would 100% recommend this for anyone with a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee that needs them replaced best bet is to replace all 4 at once!

Installed on a 2010 Jeep Commander. All 4 tires plus spare. Read by the Jeep right away, no need to program anything.

bought another one
purchased another one just like this. The first one was because I needed it, and didn't want to pay retail (about 3-4 times more cost-wise) Was having some front end work done on my car, and asked the shop that was doing the work to also replace the TPMS that I had in my car. The "magic" thing about this, you don't have to pay to have them set up on your car. The computer will read it. The mechanic told me that it should read within the first 20 miles or so, and within a mile, my computer system in my car read it. I purchased a second one to have on hand, just in case I needed another one. Glad to see them for a reasonable cost. One of the prices I was quoted was close to $150 to have one installed. That is way too much. This one was around $30, and my mechanic put it on for $10. All in all, a very good purchase.

Worked just fine!
I had these installed on my 2009 Grand Caravan SE when I purchased new tires in October 2014. The old sensors were still working but had serious corrosion on the valve stems due to Michigan road salt. These Dorman TPMS sensors worked perfectly in every regard. No programming was required, just install and drive! Due to an installation error by the tire installer, one tire had a slow leak. The new TPMS sensor properly detected the low tire and the light on the dash went out when they fixed it. Unlike the OEM TPMS sensors, the Dorman sensor has a detachable separate valve stem so you don't have to replace the whole sensor if the valve stem gets corroded or broken. Amazon's price on these is about 1/3rd of the Dodge dealer price. Don't waste your money with OEM sensors, get these!

Worked perfectly!
Bought it, had the tech determine which tire needed the TPS and installed for only $30. Drove 5km and the vehicle recognized it. It's been working perfectly since. I'd definitely buy these again.

Stay away from this TPMS
Installed it today both of them on the left side on my Dodge Journey and after driving for 50km on the highway they didn't register to the computer. Paid $70 to install them. Now I can't even return tham. As i jave to pay to uninstall them. So don't buy for Dodge Journey 2011 and later.

Deceptive description, does not work as described.
This product only works with an exceptionally narrow product group, not the wide band listed. This makes for a very expensive mistake, and large pain when they do not work after the sensors are installed and tires balanced and mounted.

Good Value, Easy Install
Had no problem syncing with vehicle. Just followed instructions in the box. Install them on the car and let sit for 20 minutes then drive for 10 minutes. No problem. Excellent price. Tire centre changed them without complaining.
