Please don't be fooled by the huge discount
Apologies for the negativity in this review, but I feel strongly about the marketing on this one.I'm absolutely not saying this laptop isn't worth the lower discounted price (I paid just over £200 which I think is a bargain for a windows 11 laptop with SSD and 12Gb of RAM), but what I am saying is that it was never in a million years a £1200 laptop in the first place. If it was priced that high for a limited time then it was purely so the huge discount back down to its actual price would look particularly attractive - and I really don't agree with this kind of marketing. In my career I've had many laptops that are upwards of £1000 and they have all had a far superior build quality (rigid metal chassis and fewer plastic parts) and higher specification (Intel Core i5 / i7 / NVIDIA graphics / etc.). This laptop is definitely in the same ballpark as lower priced laptops at the same price point of around a few hundred quid.Good points:- Latest version of Windows 11- Full size keyboard and separate number pad- 512Gb SSD- 12Gb Ram- Large trackpad (as is becoming normal on laptops)- erm…Not so good points:- Underhand marketing IMO (the big discount makes you think it's a far more expensive laptop than it really is)- Build quality and materials feel low end (like you might expect from a sub £300 device). This thing is flimsy feeling and flexes massively because it's mainly plastic.- The default keyboard is not UK (I think it's US). Comes with a pack of rubber keyboard overlays for all other layouts (including UK). All other keyboard layouts require a rubber overlay (which in fairness softens the cheap clicky mechanical key presses). I am wondering how long the rubber will last before either bursting or curling up at the corners.- In the pictures the screen has been faked onto the image, making it look like it has a small bezel around the display, but it's bigger than the pics show (the one in the video is more accurate)In summary, I bought this laptop for my 11yr child to play some games and do homework - I'm sure it will do those things just fine, but I don't fancy its chances of of surviving the first (and inevitable) time that it will be accidentally dropped on the floor or sat on. Probably worth the £210 I paid, but certainly not north of £300-£400.

Been good so far
My old laptop was sooo slow that this new one seems great, espercially for £270... the keyboard is slightly mislabelled but there were rubber things to overlay, e.g. the 3 button shift symbol displays a hashtag, yet gives you the £ like normal keyboards (UK).It is pretty quick and has a card slot for 500gb which i got for £33 on here too. It is abit annoying to find a cable charger as I like to have two in different rooms. None of the universal adaptors heads fitted it so not sure what pin type it is nor can i find it easily on google.NOTE - I have only had this laptop for a week so maybe a bit early for a review.... but so far.... all good. Like the guy says below, this was never a £1200 laptop reduced but for the moey it seems worth it so far.... if something goes wrong ill update this review!

Serious specs for a laptop
It always surprises me how far we've come when it comes to the specifications of what can fit inside of a normal laptop in this case it's a particularly large 15.6 inch screen which has crystal clear colours meaning I can both do some very slight design work which I do for logos and engravings but I can also run plenty of apps due to the 12GB of ram. Most of my storage in the cloud so I don't actually need a lot of hard drive space however the fact that this has 512 gigabytes is more than plenty for myself to be able to keep a couple of local files stored that I decided to work on and synchronise with the cloud that I want to media access to even when I'm offline.Other than the specs which way outweigh anything I could expect for such a laptop it's also got full connectivity with its usb 3 ports as well as 4.2 Bluetooth so you should be able to keep up with most laptops on the market or even exceed them.

No good lots of technical faults
This laptop unfortunately starts glitching after 1 month and is being used just for my son's homework it shuts down mid use with a black screen and has to be reset all the time.. you can't leave it for long as it just crashes and takes a long time to reboot

Time and documents wasted
It worked perfectly for a week. After that, I couldn't turn it on anymore. It also damaged my external hard drive which contained several important files. Never again this brand. Hou is possible a £1.100 laptop 😡😡
