Keeps Trespassers From Stealing My Fruit! Until it Stopped Working
For years, strangers have been coming into my yard and stealing our mangoes! They walk up the driveway and through 10 feet of yard and, bold as brass, steal the fruit right off our tree. We wait for the fruit to tree-ripen, but they come in with bags and just take what they want. These aren't kids, they're grown adults (some over 60!) trespassing! A couple of times, entire families just raided it. I've tried yelling at them, but they just scamper off with whatever they want. It's a bit ridiculous! We planted the tree, take good care of it, and they just come and steal the fruit! This year, I decided to try the animal blaster! And it worked! A couple of times, we heard squeals as the water soaked the thieves, but we finally have fruit! It's so nice to be rid of this headache! Victory is ours!! :)The motion sensor is adjustable, so I've set it to where it won't go off in the wind, only when a person is walking toward it. It doesn't leak, so no water waste, and I adjusted the tap so the water goes right where I want it. It works great! After we've eaten all our fruit (finally!) I'll use it to keep the rabbits out of the fall vegetable garden.UPDATE: So it mysteriously stopped working after 5 months. :( I was using it to scare away rabbits and it just stopped entirely. Tried new batteries, that didn't work. I called Amazon to ask about the included 1 year manufacturer's warranty and they didn't have any way to contact the manufacturer. But Amazon said I could return it. Sad that what was a great product just konked out. I'll order another one from a different manufacturer and see how that goes.

Worth it!
Purchased 1 of these to help rid my yard/shed area of skunks and cats. It worked! I have been using it for a year and it is working well. Added a blink camera to the area as well. I now have some fun video footage for entertainment. Cats really dont like this sprinkler, hilarious!!! No more cat pooh from those stupid cats to deal with. The skunks retreat pretty quick as well.

Scares off the trash pandas!
I recently built a pond in the back yard, landscaped around it, filled it with fish and was loving it for about a week until the raccoons found it and started going for midnight swims and eating all the water lettuce and hyacinths. (I think the fish are still too small for them to notice). I bought this to see if it would be effective at scaring them off and found it works great, (if only I could remember to leave the water turned on at night). My outdoor camera has now caught quite a few instances of the trash pandas getting scared off by the sprinkler. The sensitivity angel is somewhat narrow so I’ve ordered a second one to install on the other side of the pond. Should be easy to install the second one as they have a hose extension cap that allows you to install these in series from a single water source.

Don't waste your time
This is one of the worst pieces of product garbage I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Seemed like such a good idea too, and with decent reviews I was very hopeful. Well, actually if you do the math on the reviews, it seems as though roughly 1 in 10 units don't perform and I guess this was my unlucky day. I hate spending time on a lengthy review but to save some of my fellow Amozonians from some headaches and frustration I feel it's my duty to go into some detail. And maybe even the manufacturer will take note although I doubt it. I can tell from their weak website and "instruction slip" that consumer communication is not their forte. So here goes: Easy to assemble, yes. But from there it goes downhill fast. Instead of providing easy to see visual instructions, there's a pithy slip of paper with not well-written instructions, at least one of which makes absolutely no sense: "The jet spray repeller's coverage area is arc shaped. Set the width of this arc by sliding the two prong clips to the left or right." Seems clear except there are not two prong clips that you can adjust into any kind of variable arc, only narrow and almost 360º. But that's minor stuff, on to the real failure: IT DOESN'T WORK! How does it not work? Let me count the ways. It behaves randomly every time you make make a slight adjustment like the distance or go into the battery compartment. Starting with brand new batteries, the unit wouldn't come on at all even after adjusting the on/off distance dial. Then finally it came on and wouldn't turn off! So I turned the dial to off and then it wouldn't come on again at all. Maybe something wrong with the batteries? So I swap fresh batteries and try again. Okay now it's working, great. But then I go to adjust the distance and it stops working again! I'll give it a rest, maybe it needs time to adjust (?). An hour or so later it's working again but now it's going off every 30 seconds while there's complete stillness in the area! And it won't stop! For the next several hours, repeat and rinse (which is what will happen to you as you adjust and try to get it to work). Nuff said? I hope so. Avoid it. Unless you love frustration.
