Fabulous!
From my wife Sarah: These are so very delicious! It's hard to find something that's gluten and dairy free. It's also nut free and it appears soy free as well. The texture and flavor is wonderful. It's a great way to get a chocolate fix with the option of eating a small piece, or multiple pieces. Honestly, I don't find that it tastes strongly of coffee. It's subtle but the chocolate is yummy. They didn't last long. I've already bought a second bag.

Kiddo Caution
Be careful with kiddos around this product!! The packaging from the front looks exactly like the fruit bars my toddlers so desperately love. I can foresee a child opening one up and eating a very intense bit of caffeine

Terrible decision
This is terrible chocolate!!! Don’t buy!!! Tastes like wax!!! I spent $26.99 on this bag of chocolate and it’s not returnable!! What a waste of money!!!!!!!!

Thick pasty not coffee flavor
We got the espresso ones but they don't taste like coffee just the chocolate flavor but it's thick and pasty I don't like them but my fiance does but says they'd be better with raspberry. I appreciate the ingredients so I'll try other flavors hoping for a more coffee flavor from maybe double espresso or mocha one.

Physically small. bit full size taste
That's it. Organic Dark Chocolate Espresso Truffles. (1 Truffle = 1 Espresso Shot) 100% Plant-Based, Vegan, Gluten-Free, All Natural, Grab and Go, Allergy Friendly (18 Pack)That's it nutrition bars come packaged in a bright white plastic bag with a bow on the front and a clear window. You can see the individually packaged bars inside. The main bag has a tear-off top with a press and seal closure. The plastic was a little too hard for me to tear, so I used scissors. The variety that I am testing is their organic dark chocolate espresso truffle. According to the label on the individually packed bar, this is only 14 g of carbs but unfortunately less than 1 g of protein. [I was hoping there would be more protein in the treat] But, it is only 60 calories, per treat, not too bad. Their ingredient list seems to be all pretty good stuff, organic dates, organic chocolate, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic coffee, sea salt, and organic caffeine from coffee. [per the list on the package’s ingredients]They also have the advisement that it may contain the occasional stem, seed, or pit fragments. (I wonder what's going on with that warning?)The sealed mylar package opens up fairly easily, and the treat inside is quite small. I actually got a tape measure to check the size of these. They're about an inch and a half square coming out of a 3 and 1/2-in long wrapper (reminiscent of fun-size Halloween candies) a family member remarked that they look like a piece of candy that comes from one of those gift boxes of chocolates.Biting into the square, it's slightly firm but still fairly soft. The chocolate coating on the outside doesn't melt like milk chocolate. In fact, I held it in my hand for about 5 minutes as I got a phone call while I was trying to do this review. It did not melt in my fingers during that time. If it was a milk chocolate bar, I'd have a mess in my hand. As far as taste, it has a slight dark chocolate/ carob type taste, and I feel I can taste the dates in the mix as I chew. (Fortunately, I did not get any of the aforementioned stems or pit pieces) a family member remarked that they thought the first bite tasted musty before even chewing. The bottom line on these treats? A refined pallet more than my own would probably enjoy these more. Myself, I'd be tempted to give these out for trick or treat, or take them to the office for trick or treat there. However, because I tend to get migraines, I'm going to keep these on hand for the next time I have a headache. My doctor has advised me that caffeine can help to dissipate migraines.

Wanted to like these, but the texture and taste is too much like eating coffee grounds
We had a previous good experience with That's It's fruit bars, and so when we saw that they also had coffee bars we were eager to give them a try.Unfortunately, the very thing that made those fruit bars such a hit result in these tasting like the leftover coffee grounds from a morning brew of coffee.Little has been done to help get the flavor and texture beyond the very sour taste and gritty texture of the base coffee ingredient and frankly neither the "vanilla" flavored version or the "double espresso" variety solved the issue.I was really excited to try these and have these on hand as a good-tasting morning energy pick-me up, but after about a week I decided I really couldn't get past the taste or the texture and found myself dreading trying to force down one of these bars to do the trick. They still have a customer in me for the fruit bars, but this coffee energy bar variety is not something I'll ever be picking up again.***Overall Value***While you do get a fair number of bars, it's not the best value for such a small-sized bar for $24.99 (at the time of review) for 15. Over a dollar per bar when the taste and texture aren't great isn't something I could ever recommend.
