But it worked as a USB hub for a little bit. However that didn't last long either. The thing is completely bricked now. Expect only about a year or so of use out of it. This is why I generally don't write reviews only after a week of use, because it's important to understand the longevity of the device. I'd search elsewhere. Great Value
Everything works great on this little hub. The only issue I have run into is the SD card readers speed. Not good for DEX
I bought this for my Samsung to use DeX. And it sometimes works 40% of the time.

Not Dex or Samsung Friendly
Well it actually does launch Dex on Samsung Devices. but you have to jump through a shoot ton of hoops to do so and it glitches and goes black screen anyway. you have to plug it into the device then plug in the hdmi cord then plug in the power supply or dex wont even launch... whats wrong? because i can hook a straight usbc to hdmi into my phone and it runs dex on the monitor with no problems.

Good hub but it doesn't recognize my hard drive
This is a well-built hub but unfortunately, when I connect my 250GB hard disks to it, it does not show up in the finder. I checked on their website and it says that the hub is supposed to be able to connect a hard drive to my MacBook Pro, but it's not. Maybe just the one I got is defective?

Nice product, it works
Nice product, it works. There are two many different formats out there. I went out to give a lecture and they only had VGA. This adaptor does not. I was hoping that this adaptor would solve my universal needs and it doesn't. It does cover quite a good number of options, though.
