Great Steam Deck Dock
This steam deck dock is very similar to the original one, it has a sleek design and is super easy to set up and use. I was eyeing buying the original one but opted for this as it is more budget friendly and would reach quicker. When it arrived, I was pleased with the packaging and that it is in an eco friendly packaging.I took it out and set it up to my tv in order to use it for steam deck docking and tried out playing DDLV and truly enjoyed it! It is a good product and will last long term from the looks of it.

Handy dock
This comes in nice eco friendly minimal cardboard packaging which is always a plus. The dock itself seems to be made of an aluminium alloy and is constructed to a high standard. The Steam Deck sits into the dock nicely and it looks very sleek. In use it seems to function perfectly well, all usb ports, the hdmi and display port all function well as specified. I did use the ethernet port but couldn't hit gigabit ethernet speeds, but this might have been my network, it does this from time time, but 8MB/Sec isn't awful anyhow.I do like this and it will replace my old dock, but it isn't as good value, my original dock was pretty much the same specifications, minus the display port connection. Now I will use this feature, but if you wont, it's not really great advice for me to recommend paying double just for this port. If you need it, and want a well built and good performing dock, then go for it.I would like to see this closer to £50, which would represent better value for money, but this is a quality product and not only looks good, it also performs well.

Good accessory
The build quality is good. Available ports are great. Fits Steamdeck with protective case (Skull & Co).Overall satisfied with the product.Maybe version 2 could have an adjustable lip, higher back rest and nvme slot.

Great performance on Laptop & Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
To test this, I set it up initially with my Windows 11 laptop, via the Thunderbolt 4 port, and plugged into it a 4K monitor, Ethernet Cable, 120W GaN Charger and an external NVMe drive in an external 10Gbps enclosure.Broadband speed well excellent, both on download and upload, with speeds around 800Mbps/50Mbps. I did have two PCs running at the time and both were running at the same speeds. I didn’t experience any issues communicating between the two PCs.Running the external 4K display at 60Hz via the HDMI port was faultless, with the laptop screen running at 2880x1800@90Hz. I didn’t try the DP port, but have no reason to doubt it would not perform in line with its spec. The charging performance through to the laptop was around 75W, with the laptop battery at around 70% charged, which was on a par with other hubs. The 3 USB-A ports are USB 3.2 Gen1x1 5Gbps, with a maximum theoretical speed of 625MB/s. Testing with the NVMe drive, the Read/Write speeds were 435MB/s-440MB/s. Which is very much in line with similarly speced hubs. You should expect similar speeds from a normal SSD drive.I did also try this with my Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra, in DEX mode to create a laptop like experience. Either extending the display to the monitor or having the tablet in tablet mode and the monitor in DEX. Picture quality on the 4K monitor was excellent and plugging in a USB dongle to one of the USB-A ports gave me access to a keyboard and mouse. I could access the NVMe drive without issue and speeds were fast. I also had access to the broadband via the Ethernet cable, with speeds around 370Mbps & 47Mbps. Charging to the tablet was at 20W.Overall, this hub performed very much in line with others and certainly met all its spec. Its all metal, black casing is sleek and easy to keep clean and should prove reasonably durable. It is quite light and could be used for travel purposes. At the time of writing this review, the price was £69.99, which I feel to be expensive given the spec and number of ports. However, there was a £15 off voucher on the Amazon UK product page, taking the prcie down to £54.99.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

A Bit Cheaper Than The Official Dock
I love my Steam Deck, and have mainly played with it as a handheld. There are some games however that you really cannot enjoy in a small screen, and so I have started to dock my Steam Deck in my living Room TV.The Official Steam Deck Dock is £70 and this is just over £20 cheaper and has all of the same functionality. It also allows you to hardwire your internet with an ethernet cable which is a nice touch. It’s very compact which makes it very portable and does the job well. It is a bit cheaper than the Official one, which is good.

Let me tell you why the KiwiHome docking station is the BEST in its class.
The media could not be loaded. Before starting my review, I would like to note that I purchased this product with my own money and at a discounted rate of $39.99 before tax.Now shall we start?1- First things first, I open the box, and the silicone that will hold my steam deck in place was dirty, I cleaned it off with some wipes, but it’s something to note. No biggie.2- You will find that the Docking slides when you put it on a flat surface, that’s because there is a sticker covering the silicone base of the docking station. Peal it off and enjoy a rigid stationary dock.3- While I was connecting the power into the dock, I realized that the docking station’s ports are well machined and polished, unlike JSAUX 6-in-1 model (that I personally used) has its housing like brushed aluminum, which can be a picky con to some like myself.4- Another thing that I may find as a “concern” to some is the location of the wire attached to the docking station with it being connected to the steam deck. There are some stress points in the red circle that I drew in the one of the pictures attached. Not sure if that can be a concern to some of you, but I don’t find it really bothering me or the extent that it would potentially damage my type-C steam deck’s port.5- Ethernet connection, some companies like to “over advertise” their connection speed tolerance, but as shown in the picture, KiwiHome DOES deliver above and beyond.6- LAST but not least, the button! Of course, it’s one of the “unique” features that separates it from other docking stations. Some people might think that the button is just switching screen modes, I explained briefly in the video attached that the button acts like a kill-switch to anything connected to it other than the power. Your mouse, keyboard, HDMI, Display Port, and ethernet are NOT functional once the button’s light is off. Again, might be a con to some of you, but hey, it’s not found in a lot (or any) docking station.Note: You can extend the steam deck’s display and use 2 or 3 displays all at once.7- Finally, my last thoughts. Given the fact that I purchased it at $39.99 (same price range as the famous JSAUX 6-in-1), I would EASILY say this is my go to. Watch out for those discounts cause at $39.99, you’re getting WAY more than an average $40-$50 docking station.I hope this review helps you decide your purchase!🙂👍

Does its job very well.
I bought it for my ROG Ally, and it's great. It supports 120Hz with the HDMI cable, plus the 30W mode is also supported directly with the ROG Ally's standard charger. It's all benefits for the price. Just a small flaw: the cable is a bit short for the ROG Ally, which means you have to offset it slightly from the center of the docking station. Not cool :(
