I had the same brand steamer as this one and it always got clogged and would randomly stop working till it gave out. This one I use all the time. Super easy to fill up. Doesn’t get clogged at all and I can steam quite a bit of clothing before having to refill. Light weight and easy to take traveling.

While it doesn't impact the overall performance significantly, it's worth mentioning. Despite this minor quirk, the Valet Portable Clothing Steamer remains an excellent investment for those who prioritize convenience and efficiency in their garment care routine.

This is so much easier to use than a previous steamer I've owned. With that one, it never seemed to get the wrinkles out despite two or more passes of the steamer. It was just cumbersome to use. This has worked a lot better and makes for a great starter steamer.

Works great the only thing I don’t like it that there’s no way to drain the water out of the tank so you have to use it

I ordered this for my son who is dorming at college. He has never used an iron (I always did that for him) and he doesn't have enough space in the dorm room to use an iron (Plus I don't think they are allowed to have one) so I thought this would be perfect for him to steam clothing he needs to while away. This portable compact little steamer does a great job for him. While not as good (or quick) as my iron at home, it does the job well. It heats up quickly, steams the clothing efficiently. The only gripe is that the water hole is SO tiny and hard to fill. We had to buy a small funnel for him to use so he wasn't spilling water everywhere. Other than that, this is great for a college student or to bring while traveling. It would also make a good Christmas gift!

Overall very impressed with how well this works and the overall build quality. It heats up quickly and has a capacity that is more than sufficient to steam several garments before having to refill. The steamer feels well made and like there was a focus on the small details, right down to the included velcro core wrap. The price also seems appropriate given these factors.

This steamer is super intuitive. It's easy to fill and heats up pretty quickly. The steamer is small so its spray is small, it took longer than I hoped for a button up shirt. That being said I hate ironing and it was way easier to get my clothes looking ready to go. I plan to use it primarily at home but its the perfect size for any trips. Does not leak unless you hold it all the way tilted but I didn't remove any stars because I feel like that would be common for any steamer just due to gravity. Overall its a good steamer and Id recommend it.

Mixed emotions about this steamer. I love the fact that this steamer only takes about 20 seconds to heat up and be ready to steam. The price of $33.05 seems reasonable. It is easy to hold. It has lights that glow red or green according to whether it is ready to steam or not. I also like that just because the light is green and ready to go doesn't mean that the steam is spewing from the spout. Only when you push the lit button does it begin to throw the steam. This is a great safety feature. What I don't like is very important. I don't like how you have to add the water to the bottom compartment. This compartment is removable. It is a narrow hole in the top that is rather flat and doesn't really allow for much pooling of the water so that it can be syphoned down the hole. Rather the water overflows and spills and it is very difficult to fill the water compartment. It becomes burdensome. I'm gonna stick with 3 stars and let you decide if you want to deal with refilling the water constantly and with troubles. It receives electricity from the being plugged in the wall.
