Memphis High Sleeper Loft Bunk Bed with Sprung Mattress (15 cm), 3ft Single

Happy with Memphis 3ft single bed, no missing pieces and no big problems. Sturdy and stable enough for a 13 year old, built on a thick carpet. The supplied soft metal allen key stripped quickly, then my own soft metal key stripped, so ended up using a hardened (black) allen key. Instructions seemed daunting at first, but stick with it, it all becomes clear. I also chose to download and print the most up-to-date version from their website.

This seems like a really good bed for the money. It arrived from the seller quickly and packaged up well. The instructions are not great so it is worth reading through them a couple of times first and sorting out all the bits and pieces before you start. However, it went together easily once I got going. It feels really stable and strong. The bed is quite high up, which is really useful as there is around 1m 40cm clearance underneath to fit plenty of stuff. But it does mean that I can barely see my son when he is up there asleep.

This seems good and solid, although it needs screwing to the wall to really feel secure - wall brackets are supplied. Make sure you have an electric screwdriver or assembly will take forever. You DEFINITELY need 2 people, as it's not an easy job putting it together. It was missing some white screw covers - minor annoyance. Delivery v quick but limited choice 're time / day. Instructions in clear English, but some steps a bit confusing depending on which design you buy. Overall good value for the price and seems like it will last.

This is being used by a fairly small adult, and it seems sturdy. It does wobble a bit because my walls are not good enough to mount the frame to the wall. The brackets had to be attached to the skirting board instead, which provides less protection against wobbling. No issues otherwise. It can be assembled by two people but I used Amazon's service for this and so far, I'm very happy with the bed. Great service from the company too.

I brought this before Christmas for my boy... I’ve just had time to put it up and I haven’t a clue how I’m supposed to put this bed together with no instructions and no screws.. on a positive the bed wood looks good... Amazon I hope you can sort this issue quickly my son needs a bed!!

The product is well packed in two boxes. One has a bundle of fixings and screws and some instructions.First things first. The instructions are terrible. Luckily I’ve assembled a lot of flat pack in my day to I got the gist from page one and moved on. The concept of the build is well thought out and easy to figure out. Once you figure out the basics and concept of the build, intuition should take over. Rant over.The pack of fixings had plenty of everything needed. In fact, it had too many of most things. I’ll never need to buy wooden dowels again 😉. The Pre-drilled holes all lined up. And they used high quality fixings. I’ve found on other flat packs that the fixings are cheap and not built to last. Leading to stripped hex or cross threads. Didn’t happen once on this. I even used a drill driver to speed things up. If you do, engage the clutch to avoid over tightening.The whole thing took a few hours to build. I needed an extra pair of hands once or twice when I was connecting the second pair of legs. The rest was plain sailing.The model I purchased has a completely vertical ladder at one end. It is quite steep. So keep that in mind for smaller kids. I’ve climbed up and the ladder takes my weight. The bed is sturdy once assembled. However, if you can, use the angle brackets to fix to the walls at the end and back side to avoid any lateral movement and flex. It’s rock solid once you do.My 6 year old daughter loved her “big girl bed”. Instructions aside, I would recommend this bed if you’re in the market for one. Especially for the money.Hope this helps

very very strong product, exceeded all expectations and very happy with my purchase. this is exactly what we needed and thanks to these guys I could afford to achieve getting. managed to build on my own petite single mum.. (only needed a prop man as I fixed ends on (prop man was 12 years old). this even comes with a cute packet of glue to ensure your 4 lock in side bolts don't come loose over time. thank you. read the leaflet and check leg bolt holes for excess drill dust build up before building. perfect product. deffo get one.

Bed was decent quality, fortunately I spent a time as a chippy when I was 20 odd as the instructions were for a bed with a side ladder not a foot one and I had to pilot, sync and supply my own fixings for a few parts of foot end and ladder
