Absolutely brilliant
I’ve had this book in my wish for over a year and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was worth purchasing. However, whilst browsing through my wish list, I noticed the price had been reduced so finally, I thought I’ll give it go. I loved the book, it was well worth the money because I can see myself re-reading the book and enjoying it all over again and finally, I’ve discovered another m/m author I can add to my favourite list. This book deserved more than 5 stars and I rarely ever say that. The author completely blew me away with his amazing world building. I’ve read several shifter stories but this one surpassed every single one because it was refreshingly unique.Ox’s life changes when people moved into the house at the bottom of the street. He welcomes new friendships but never fully understands the depth of the bond he feels in his heart and soul. He struggles to accept his true worth and the author captured his insecurities really well.Joe was adorable right from the very beginning and the pull between him and Ox was strong and vibrant throughout. One of my favourite scenes was when he goes to Ox’s mum to ask for permission to court her son. The things Joe said and his family all standing outside laughing their heads off when Joe accidentally tells Ox’s mum about him wanting to mount her son lol.The wolf family and the songs they sung were heart wrenching and the author captured those painful moments really powerfully.Joe and his brothers made me laugh and Ox made my heart physically ache. This was a gripping story that will leave you wanting more. Be prepared for an emotional journey, surprises and twists.

TJ Klune a million times thank you for such an epic and awesome adventure.
5 SINGING STARSI am seriously struggling on how to start my review. I could just say, it was a great story, I was engrossed the whole way through. But that doesn’t even come close to how much this story gripped me.This is the first time I have read anything by this Author, and it most certainly won’t be the last. I am eager for more. So much more.I love reading paranormal, shifters are a favourite of mine. So when I spotted this Author being shared on a blog, I investigated. I am thrilled beyond belief that I got to take this adventure of pure fantasy with some remarkable characters.Ox hasn’t had an easy life. He’s done and seen things that most others wouldn’t even comprehend. He’s always been special, many thought him to be slow, a retard. That comment almost did me in. By the time I heard that being spoken I was already knee deep emotionally invested, and I believe that comment was made in chapter two.Ox was surprised one day to see the empty house next to him had residents. It was empty for so long, he always wondered about it. When Ox met the Bennetts, especially Joe his life changed forever.Young Joe Bennett was the cutest, I giggled when he first spoke to Ox. “Candy canes and pinecones and epic and awesome.” That line right there will stay with you through the whole book. Joe knew that Ox was special to him, even from the age of ten. Ox was it, there would never be another. Unfortunately Ox never saw Joe as a grown man, well not straight away. The day that happened was something to laugh about.Ox and Joe lit up my world. I always say the best place to be is to lose yourself in a world of fantasy, and that’s exactly what I did.I fell in love with each character, Thomas, I shed tears for him. Elizabeth made me smile, Mark made his way into my heart. Kelly and Carter made me laughed. The guys from the garage made my day with their sense of humour. Even Jessie work her way into my affections. It wasn’t all love, fun and laughter though, far from it in fact. Joe has constant nightmares and it’s not surprising considering what he had to endure as a young boy. Many people are out to hurt the Bennetts, as much as Ox wants to keep them all safe, it’s an impossible task. When they mourned one of their own, I did too. When they laughed or cried I did also. I was almost nearing the end of the book when I couldn’t take it anymore. I was so close to reading the end before I even got to it. My heart was picking up speed, and I thought I needed to know sooner rather than later. But my husband stopped me. His words were, “You’ll regret it, what if you miss something important” Grrr!! True so I carried on.I could go on and on about how wonderful this story is, but I think you should just read it for yourself. If you love paranomal and shifters then don’t even give it a second thought. Hit the download button.TJ Klune a million times thank you for such an epic and awesome adventure.

4.5 stars
This book was highly recommended to me by my friend. She is obsessed with this series and I now understand why.Short review no spoilersWolfsong is my first ever pnr book.!"And Joe, Joe sang the loudest of all. He said, you belong to me."I have never been so drawn into a book like I had with this one. From the first page you are pulled in.I felt like I could feel all the love while reading this book. This book isn’t just about werewolves, it’s about belonging, and tbh it made me feel very overwhelmed when reading. Joe and Ox relationship is something that developers over years. But from that first moment they meet it so powerful, and you feel it and that is down to the writing. Klune makes what you’re reading feel so real. And this book does feel like that even though it’s pnr.The enjoyment I got from the first half of this book was fantastic.Carter (side character) was hilarious. He made this story light and fun. I can’t wait to read his book.Reading this has definitely opened my eyes to a genre I would never normal pick up. I'm so excited to read the next books.
