this fan works really awesome!!! i like it!!!

Works like a charm. My X-Box is in an enclosed shelf. I put a usb fan system on the back, but, felt it was still hot in the enclosure. Put a vent and this fan, which plugs into the usb. Have it set a 90 degrees. Never had it get above 100 or so now. Shuts off a 80. Keeps my baby safe! A must have.

Simple, got a dud. Working first day, second day fan started running slow and blew no air. Next day worked fine then it just stopped. I tried other usb ports it will not come back on. Could be the display broke.

The Coolerguys Thermal worked as described. The only downside is that it Does Not come with a user manual on how to put it together and on how to use it.

It worked perfectly for the job at hand.

Excellent product will be buying again if or when needed.

I installed this in my RV to cool the electrical cabinet after adding an inverter. I had to purchase and install a USB port to make this work on the DC circuit. The temperature sensor works perfectly. It does not come with any instructions or cutting templates for installation. My feeling is that if you are comfortable and have the tools needs to cut a hole in your cabinet, you probably have the skills needed to figure things out without instruction. There is a switch with options for ON/TC (temperature control) that ends up inside the cabinet. This is perfect for my application. Some people might prefer if that was outside and included an off option.

The description for this item is wrong - it talks about a live temperature display and programmable thermostat but only a fixed thermostat with no display is delivered. The picture is accurate - note the lack of display.It is priced as if it's the programmable one.In the end I didn't send it back as I just needed the cabinet cooled and didn't want to wait for the round trip of return and new supply.
