EDIT: There is a very feint high pitched whine from the battery. It's not consistent, and unless the room is perfectly silent I can't hear it when it is making noise. My dogs seem to hear it better than I can, but they seem to be getting used to it. I specifically bought this head strap because it seems to be the best (only?) halo-style strap with a battery that fits the quest 3. So far it is almost perfect. It completely takes the pressure off the face and is way more comfortable than the standard "jockstrap". The distance from your face is also slightly adjustable and the strap keeps the headset remarkably stable. I don't have any issues with the headset wiggling around on my face when I move. The battery doesn't make any noise when charging or discharging as far as I can tell, and it does extend play time, but I haven't yet quantified exactly how long. The one thing I didn't like was that there is only one ratchet adjuster on the back, while many halo-style straps (without batteries) also have an adjustment dial for the top strap as well. I would have liked to ratchet the top down just a little bit tighter. I have a pretty big head, so someone with a small head might not be able to get a very good fit. In all it's a night-and-day improvement over the default strap and will extend your play time not just by the battery life, but also extending the time you can play before you get a headache. Better, more comfortable than the elite strap and cheaper too. Worth the money, would recommend 👌 If you are still playing with the jockstrap, stop reading reviews and buy this now. If you already have a 3rd party battery strap that you're happy with, this is still a solid strap for the price but maybe not worth an upgrade until they make one with a top adjustment dial.

This head strap is WAY more comfortable than the stock strap, easy to adjust, and the weight of the battery pack on the back balances it out to take some pressure off the face. I got the 8000mah version, thinking that would be plenty, but it charges the Quest at such a slow rate, it cant keep up with battery consumption after a couple hours. Great fit, and for the price it's a good deal. But the slow charging is disappointing, and in retrospect I'd get a better set. Still 4 stars for value and comfort.

Headset feels really good and snug on your head which is where the weight load should be not on your face. Very comfortable unit. The issue is that only after about two weeks the battery though fully charged no longer powers my VR headset. Worked perfectly at first. Will be returning if I cannot figure out what’ the problem is. ( turns out the connection can be inserted the wrong way so charging ceases to work. Turned it over and it’s functions-operator error. Giving 5 stars for comfortableness and performance.

The fit is amazing! This takes all the pressure off your face, and makes wearing glasses far more comfortable. Also, having the battery is nice. But it's not as secure on your head, and fast movements will make it slip. Also, it's heavy. while the weight is well balanced, you may find your neck gets tired before the battery runs out.

The battery in this does not last long. I dont feel like Im getting much extension on my play time and it is slow to recharge. The strap is great though. Very comfortable. Takes all pressure off of your nose. Very easy to adjust and te wight seems fine I dont really notice it. The battery pack makes it difficult to use in a high back chair or bed, but otherwise, very nice.

This unit is a game changer for the positive on the Oculus 3 VR. The stock headstrap is garbage and very uncomfortable. At best you get 2hours of play time. With this add on, you get immediate comfort and the battery gives us upwards of 6 hours of playtime. The headstrap securely fits on and does not move around. Installation is super easy. This was a great purchase for our Oculus 3.

Well built and very comfortable. It does add a little weight but the added weight distributes well. I would give five stars but I'm less than 24 hours in and the battery won't charge past two lights, no matter how long I leave it plugged in. Also, it doesn't charge the Quest 3 well. It says slow charging. It does extend the life though. I'm not sure if I should plug it in right when I start playing or wait until about 40% then connect it.

The strap is comfy and quite adjustable but I find myself worrying over if the strap will hold over time or not. The plastic that connects the back plate with the battery feels very flimsy and I’m not sure it will last very long. Will update if it fails, overall though really good for 25$

Battery died already after one charge of used. Not charging anymore.
