I got this to replace a safety vest I use riding a motorcycle at night. Someone mentioned they barely noticed me wearing the old one.This one is more vibrant. The yellow is just for visibility if you happen to be in the light, but the stripes are pretty reflective. I had my son put it on and go down the block and shined a flashlight randomly and then drove a car past him, and it caught the light and was pretty visible, so this is my go to vest now.The fit is pretty much to size, which is a problem if you plan to wear it over motorcycle or other bulky gear. Some of the safety vests have sides that are somewhat adjustable, but this is just a full vest. Not a problem, just something to take account of.My only real complaint is that the way it is designed, it only zips up halfway in the front. It looks fine, it just means it catches the wind a bit while riding. I didn't notice that before ordering, but I doubt it would have made a difference to me.

The first thing I noticed about the vest is that it zips close, rather than having velcro closures that sometimes fail. There are three pockets on the outside; a sunglass pocket, and 2 bottom pockets, all with velcro closures that work very well for this function. On the inside are two more pockets, each with velcro closures. The only thing I did notice is that it was a bit small around my bottom with about 3" to spare. I am a woman that is a size small on the bottom, so this vest does run a bit smallish. I would go one to two sizes up!

My chest/back measures 40" around, so I ordered the large - it fits just fine. The yellow is nice and bright (think highlighter yellow), and the reflective bands can be seen from a good distance at night. It's a breathable mesh, with a nice array of pockets.

Glow Shield Flame Resistant High Visibility Class 2 Safety Vest:I ordered this vest for my husband who is a truck driver and needs to carry this type of vest whenever he goes to unload in a construction site. This is an effective vest for that purpose, the reflective material is very good, and the fit is as it should. The current price point of about 12 bucks makes it a good value.
