Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very skeptical about the Alternator. But it fit and worked like a charm for our 2005 Honda civic LS. 1.7 engine.

I’m giving this 5 stars because it worked out of the box and continues to do so. I bought this to replace the parts house remanufactured unit that lasted a day and a half.It fit in place just like the factory unit and has the correct connector. I don’t normally buy “imported” parts like these but I was in a pinch. It was also nearly half the price of the remanufactured unit.

First impressions are great, no issue installing it and is seems to have a high voltage pointe, not concerned but will monitor it, the voltage seemed to rest at 15.10v idle and stays steady throughout rpm so it’s got beans! Also….I ordered it yesterday and received it at 8:30 this morning.

I installed this alternator and it failed less than 3 months later. The return window is only 30 days which to me is very inadequate for an automobile part . I would highly recommend not buying another part from Amazon unless you can find one with a way better return policy. It was only slightly cheaper than Rock auto where I bought the replacement and you get a lifetime warranty.

It's been 3 weeks. So far so good. It's direct fit. Can't beat it for the price. My old alternator was overcharging so my amp would shut down and my interior lights would flicker, but this alternator fixed the problem. Now I have to see how long it lastUpdate: still going strong 7 months later

This was a great purchase...couldn't be happier. Great price and arrived promptly. Would definitely purchase again.

Car was over charging causing blinking lights and other issues, been a couple of months still doing good
