Love this book. Received it in hardcover edition and it came very quick (very thankful for Prime!). I'm using this for a non-majors college intro bio class and it's proving so far to be very helpful to support the lecture topics.

The physical book it's self is very well made and sturdy, but in some chapters the writing is very very technical and can be hard to understand for beginners. I definitely recommend pairing it with lectures if you have any available to you in your classes to help break down the material.

As you can see , all a biology student wants is DIAGRAMs and believe me it has tonnes of it. The pictures are so awesome that you understand concepts that you were scared of. Not only Olympiads it can prove helpful for medical students as well.

In one word excellent. Those who seek applications of their work in biology needs to look at this book. Nothing is more fascinating than life itself. The book has no pre-requisites.
