first time use it caught fire. It will not work now. Company refuses to back up with refund or replacement. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRODUCT OR COMPANY.

The iron itself is heavy & takes a long time to heat! The brand itself is beautiful!

This is my first experience with branding irons. I did a lot of research, but pricing seemed to be all over the place. I puled the trigger on this one, and was not disappointed. I had them make a stamp of my own logo design for my business. They had to make some slight adjustments for stamp image quality, but they did an awesome job - I have no complaints.The iron is much easier to use than I had anticipated, but the instructions leave a little to be desired. I recommend spending some time with temperature settings on different materials before you use it on any production pieces.

It takes a little practice to get a good brand. Too hot or too long on the material will burn. Make sure you practice on scrap before you do the actual piece. Once you get the feel for it, it works great.

It is a very heavy burner. The problem I have is it is like a wood burner without any control over the heat.I have some small lettering and because it burns so hot it is impossible to burn in the small lettering it all runs together in one big burnt patch.However I do have my logo and it is ok but very deeply burnt, therefore I can’t use it on my leather goods.

The high heat makes the branding nice , clean & fast

I purchased this branding iron with a customized brand to brand wedding favors for my son's wedding. I have tried the brand on multiple types of wood and finishes and find it next to impossible to get any consistency in the brand. I am a meticulous person and have followed the instructions. The fact that you cannot keep the iron plugged in...which is not described in the listing...only found in the instructions with the branding iron, tells me that the unit is not self-regulating, meaning you are not able to control how hot the iron gets, making consistency impossible. I realize that you cannot return a customized brand which is attached to the end of the branding iron, but I certainly would love to be able to return the branding iron itself. This was a waste of my money! I do not recommend this item. We have instead purchased a laser engraver....perfect, consistent - every time!
