Great colours really pleased

I can't say there is anything wrong with these threads although I had massive difficulty when first using them. It took me some little time to find out why my machine was frequently taking yards of top thread to the backside of the cloth and making great big birds nest tangles. I know these great tangles are usually caused by lack of tension on the top thread so with that in mind I set out to find why it was happening. It was caused by the great twisting of this thread when spooling off from the top and the tendency of the thread to fall off the bottom of the reel causing the thread to jump out of the main tension discs when the machine was automatically changing tension from 3 to 1. My machine threads from the back of the machine to the front straight across the top and into the first set of discs so any little flick and out the thread pops. So, after many abortive attempts, I found all I had to do was turn the cone upside down (first filing off the rough bits at the bottom so smooth) and take over my angle poise lamp (that I use as a thread guide). I also lowered my first guide at the back of my machine (a safety pin actually) to remove any angle of the thread into the first tension discs. After that I found the thread stitched out with no twisting and no problems. Without the thread twisting the final stitch out was a little bit more shiney and even. I think whether these threads will just stitch out depends on the way a particular machine is threaded and in my case a bit of thought and effort got me stitching. Compared to my Simthread plain coloured thread this thread feels slightly textured and looks a little more textured. The stitch out has more defined stitches. It also feels slightly thicker but that could be because it is slightly more textured. The colours are in chunks. There is no gradual change from one to the next it is strictly in chunks. The colours don't all have the same number of colour changes. The green I tried had three and the orange I tried had two. I like the thread, it's good value and looks nice. I haven't washed so don't know about colour run or shrinkage. I don't know what I will use it for though as it looks rather strange on the patterns I have and I was more looking for gradual colour transitions rather than blocks of non-blending colours. The picture showing little oblongs of colour gives a good idea as to how the thread will stitch out.

Arrived on time, so far no problems and worked in my embroidery machine perfectly.

Love the colours and quality. Great value for money and sew like a dream. The package it comes it provides storage to help keep them safe and secure.

Never had a problem with these threads, used on Brother, Happy, Singer. All good

Das Stickgarn ließ sich ohne Probleme mit meiner Brother Innovis Stickmaschine verarbeiten. Es ist eine schöne Farbauswahl vorhanden. In der Beschreibung ist auch angegeben, dass eine Spule 500 m hat. Dies bitte bei Bestellung berücksichtigen.
