Another excellent product from DJI
I admit to being a fan of DJI products, having owned drone models and currently have their Mini 5 Pro and Osmo 6 mobile phone gimbal. My wife and I are going on our first cruise in July for 14 nights and wanted a portable video camera to capture some memories so the new Osmo Pocket 4 seemed like a good choice. The quality is high-end, as with other DJI devices and the Creator Combo adds the wireless Mic 3 transmitter, tripod/grip extension and LED fill light plus compact carry case. I do wish DJI had included the protective hard case as seen with the Osmo Pocket 3 and a set of ND filters would have been nice too - have since purchased Neewer Variable ND filter set. There's no micro SD card included either but the Pocket 4 does have over 100GB of built-in memory - I've bought a 128GB Lexar Silver Plus card to add to this and it works perfectly. The 1-inch sensor, 4k video and 37 megapixel camera produce really impressive footage and static pictures and I particularly like the 4k/240fps slow motion and Hyperlapse features - the latter allows you to set 4 camera positions which the Osmo moves between during capture. An external power bank can be connected to the camera to provide power during lengthy captures. The little 2 inch OLED screen is surprisingly easy to read and once you get used to swiping in different directions for various menus, along with the behaviour of the physical buttons on the camera, things get a lot easier. As for the gimbal, it's safe to say that DJI have got these nailed down and with surprising ease, you can produce buttery smooth footage. The Osmo Pocket 4 can connect through the DJI Mimo smart phone app too allowing you to access live HD feed monitoring, remote camera control, intelligent shooting modes, and in-app video editing as well as installing firmware updates as they become available. The app works well on my iPhone 14 Pro and I find it intuitive to use. Overall, this is an excellent small format gimbal camera. I haven't owned the Pocket 3 so cannot comment on whether it offers enough to warrant upgrading but if you are a keen video creator or Vlogger, this has to warrant serious consideration and whilst it isn't cheap, it is a great little device.

Get it, it’s brilliant
I owned the Pocket 3 and it was a terrible decision to sell it, I loved it. Then I see the Pocket 4 and I couldn’t resist — I am not disappointed, and I certainly won’t be making the same mistake again! You get the same super image quality, which is now even better in low light. Same amazing stabilisation from the gimbal, but you get loads more juice from the battery, a much better control stick, unbelievable 240fps slow mo — which is outrageously good for a pocket camera — and over 100gb built in storage, too! I purchased the creator combo and the Mic 3 is on a different level for audio quality, battery life and it’s one of the best in class for sure. I like the addition of the connections so I can add a light and you get a case and a nice pouch. I was expecting not to like the gimbal holder as the P3 had a great case, but I actually do like it, makes it even more compact and surprisingly ridged in your pocket. Others have complained it overheats — mine was used for 3 hours, on and off, using the highest specs, and it didn’t even get warm, so for me, not an issue. Just get it, it’s brilliant.

a great upgrade from what was an already great camera
Owning the original Osmo Pocket, then Pocket 3 to now the Pocket 4, many people are waiting for the Pocket 4 Pro as they don't see the Pocket 4 a decent upgrade. Well, many people are wrong, there are quite a few updates to this version that I feel is more than worth the upgrade. Here is my review, paid with my own money (not free on Vine etc), so it's an honest unbiased review. The new CMOS 1" sensor, yes it's the same size as the previous one on Pocket 3, but the dynamic range is improved greatly, better image quality, more colours, as well as highlights and shadows are better exposed. The new slow mo now at 240fps in 4k, that is sooo smooth, seeing the quality in slow motion is amazing. I do wish they had an option though for maybe 480fps in 1080p, that would be interesting. The 2 new buttons, although I am not a fan of the zoom button, the C (custom) button is very useful, although it's not fully customisable, there are certain options for each press, Single Press, Double Press & Treble Press, there are certain functions to assign for each. It's a shame you can't fully customise it. For example, I would love the Single press to be Lock Gimbal Mode, as this is my preferred option, but this can only be programmed in a Treble press. There is also the slow shutter feature, where you can slow the shutter down to get these slow motion trails while in video mode. That is cool, shame you can't take a photo in that mode also. I feel as the whole unit is slightly bigger, this makes it more comfortable to handle. The joystick has had an upgrade too, feels better and operates much more smoothly. One thing I am disappointed in that was missed, was the not upgrading the vertical video to 4k, with this Pocket 4 aimed at creators, why they still only have 3k as the resolution. Maybe a firmware update? but doubt it. All in all, a great upgrade from what was already a great camera. If you have the Pocket 3, my advise is, to make that upgrade, but maybe you are holding out for the Pro version.

Exceeded My Expectations – Worth Every Penny
I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Combo Kit for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it’s one of the best tech purchases I’ve made in a long time. Right out of the box, everything feels premium and well thought out. The combo kit is definitely worth it — having all the extra accessories included just makes the whole experience smoother, especially if you want to start shooting straight away without buying add-ons later. The camera quality genuinely surprised me. The footage is incredibly sharp, colors look natural, and the stabilization is just on another level. Even when walking around or filming on the move, everything comes out buttery smooth without needing any extra effort. It makes casual filming look almost cinematic. I also love how compact it is. It fits easily in my pocket, so I actually take it with me everywhere — which means I’m capturing moments I normally would’ve missed if I had to carry bigger gear. Battery life has been solid too, easily lasting through a day of on-and-off shooting. The touchscreen and controls are intuitive, and it didn’t take long to get the hang of everything. Pairing it with my phone was quick, and transferring footage is simple. Overall, this thing just makes filming fun. Whether you’re traveling, vlogging, or just recording everyday moments, it delivers way beyond expectations. Definitely recommend the combo kit if you’re on the fence — it’s absolutely worth it.

Great camera , RUBBISH SOFTWARE !
Debating if to send back the camera is great , the software / connection to mobile (REALLY) ! Garbage ! Utter garbage software / advertising platform ! Cannot connect via USB to Nothing phone , the wifi is so hit and miss it is unusable , THE ONLY WAY TO UNLOCK AND USE MY DEVICE IS TO GIVE COMPLETE ACCESS TO MY MOBILE ? My Insta360 just works !

Creator Combo Classic
The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo arrived with all the promise of a miniature Hollywood production studio. For the princely sum of just under £550, I wasn't expecting a simple point-and-shoot camera; I was expecting something capable of filming the next blockbuster, documenting wildlife, and possibly making me look more photogenic in the process. First impressions were excellent. The Pocket 4 is remarkably compact. In an age where cameras seem determined to become progressively larger and more complicated, DJI has somehow squeezed an impressive amount of technology into something not much bigger than a chocolate bar. It slips easily into a pocket, bag, or any random compartment that you'll later spend ten minutes searching through. Opting for the Creator Combo adds a selection of useful extras that make the package feel complete. However, it also introduces my first gripe. DJI thoughtfully provides two carry cases. One is designed to hold the entire kit, while the other is intended for the Pocket itself. Unfortunately, the larger case appears to have been designed by someone who has never experienced movement. The compartments aren't properly sealed, meaning every time you open it, there's a chance your carefully organised accessories have decided to relocate themselves. The smaller case sits at the opposite end of the spectrum — flimsy, undersized, and about as reassuring as carrying your camera in a sock. Thankfully, I solved this problem by purchasing a K&F Concept storage case, which is infinitely better. Everything has a proper place, stays where it should, and the camera feels protected rather than simply being encouraged to hope for the best. The camera itself is superb, but be warned: the learning curve is steeper than I anticipated. DJI has packed in an astonishing number of settings, modes, options, menus, sub-menus, and menus within menus. Initially, I approached the device with confidence. That confidence lasted approximately twelve minutes before I found myself doing what countless others have done — heading straight to YouTube. Thankfully, there are plenty of tutorials available, and after a few evenings of digital schooling, things began to make sense. Once mastered, the Pocket 4 truly shines and the £550 feels like value for money. Video quality is excellent, producing sharp, detailed footage with vibrant colours and impressive stabilisation. The variety of settings allows you to tailor footage to exactly how you want it to look, whether you're filming family days out, scenic landscapes, travel content, or simply documenting your inability to parallel park. The flexibility available is impressive and rewards those willing to spend time learning the system. Overall, despite the questionable carry cases and the initial need for a YouTube-assisted education, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo is an outstanding piece of kit. Compact, capable, and packed with features, it delivers excellent video quality in a package small enough to carry everywhere. Once you've navigated the labyrinth of settings and found a decent storage solution, it's difficult not to be impressed by what this tiny camera can achieve.

The Osmo Pocket 4 lived up to all my expectations.
I’ve been using the Osmo Pocket 4 for a short while now, and it’s honestly one of the most impressive compact cameras I’ve ever owned. The image quality is outstanding for such a small device—sharp, vibrant, and incredibly stable thanks to the built-in gimbal. What really stands out is how easy it is to use. The interface is intuitive, and it takes just seconds to power on and start recording. The tracking features are especially useful—they lock onto subjects effortlessly and keep everything perfectly framed without any hassle. Battery life has also been solid for my needs, and the portability means I can carry it anywhere without even thinking about it. I bought the extra Handle to add more battery power in reserve. The Osmo Pocket 4 delivers way beyond expectations. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact reliable, high-quality portable camera.

Quality item but pricey.
I used this camera for video in a low light environment and I was impressed with the result, it handled flashing lights and strobes very well. The built in mic worked well but a powered mic such as DJI mic 2 adds versatility. Lots of options when taking photographs making it more than a basic auto camera. Battery life is very good and built in storage is a bonus (card expandable). 3 axis gimbal works very well and it’s easy to use. Price may seem a bit high but it does have a quality feel and it’s very feature packed.
