In love with this. Worth buying. Size is quite good if you wanna use it almost everyday. Usage depends on how you use it. Gives really nice colour and flavour to food while cooking. Long term to use. Easy to use. Box is good and right to pack, it’s hold is good.

We use saffron fairly regularly. Mostly for Paella (which we make a lot of) but also for other things such as soups, like Bouillabaisse, and Risottos. We’ve tried several brands from different parts of the world and this one is very good. It is all good, solid red, threads and it lends a deep, robust flavor with good color, especially if you toast it a little bit before using.

But I make paella at least four times a year, and Easter bread I make a dozen loafs, so I use a lot. This was some of the best stuff I have had and I usually try to get it from a company in Spain. But not sure where this is from, but man is it good. Fresh, YES, dark color, YES, flavor, YES. Very happy with my purchase. I will admit that in my first use I did used too much and was basing the amount off what I would normally use, but this stuff, uses a bit less for the same taste and color. I can honestly say BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! and I don't say that often.

I'm ALWAYS pleased with the saffron threads from Zaran Saffron. I use them in baking and in meal preparation. Their scent is exquisite, the resulting color is deep and rich and the subtle taste a treat for mouth and tongue.

I love making a tea with saffron, I use it for reducing anxiety, mood stability just feeling good overall. It provides a subtle yet noticeable calmness to my mind and body. This brand seems to be a decent quality and each tin lasts me about 3 months, so I don't think the price is bad at all. Well worth it for all of the positive benefits. Give it a try!

I didn't purchase to use as a spice in foods.Saw that Saffron has a medicinal benefit for calming panic & anxiety. It's in allot of different homeopathic remedies.But many of the ingredients I didn't want.So I purchased this to use for panic & anxiety attacks. About 20min after using a pinch just under tongue gave a calming feeling. Works great!This Saffron is packed full in beautiful can. Extremely fresh & great price. The smell & taste is so good!
