POOR QUALITY
Hardware package was missing screws and some were not the correct size. Glass did not fit the bracket and was loose. Super hard to get the screws lined up and nut started. When assembled the door would not close. Very sharp edges on metal, not deburred. Plenty of chimney pipe.

Great for the price
The door and glass being on the side is beautiful, but it is harder to use than a front loading stove. For example, it's hard to maneuver pieces of wood through the door sideways as opposed to just sticking them in through the front. Also more often than not, hot ash, coal and wood roll out of the front since they're sideways and the door is large. In a front facing stove, round pieces of wood obviously can't just roll away. You'll also find that smoke pours out of it when you open the door, which fills up your tent and can be potentially dangerous. You can minimize this by opening the damper on the chimney, then leaving the door cracked for 10 seconds before fully opening the door. This allows the smoke time to redirect itself through the chimney, instead of out of the door.Another issue is when you fully close the damper, smoke will pour out of the stove around various crevices (the door, the base of the chimney), which is again dangerous. This means you have to leave your damper partially opened, which also means having to go through more wood and waking up to keep the fire going more often.Overall the stove is beautiful for the price and keeps your tent toasty (albeit smokey), however in retrospect I would have gotten a stove that can be loaded from the front. It's worth mention you can cook on it, and it's easy to clean. I spilled chicken grease all over it and proceeded to keep it burning all night, which made my tent smell delicious but more susceptible to a bigfoot attack. Fortunately, it wiped right off like it never happened after the camping trip.

Great stove/ broken glass
The way that it is packed caused the glass to break during shipping. They should take the glass and tape it to the top of the metal without putting everything else on top of it. I bought another glass $65. From a local glass co. now I love it. It is sturdy and portable. I feel this is a a nice fireplace for the price just hope they figure out how to ship it without damage so others can enjoy it too. I would have given it a 5 star because I feel it is good but it was their packaging mistake that caused the damage.

Items do not fit correctly.
Glass comes inside of into. Once installed you cannot secure glass door and it’s unsafe. I tried using it despite the defect and it was horriable.
