Scorpion Master 32LED Ultra Violet (UV) Black Light Flashlight

This UV flashlight using LED technology is helpful in finding scorpions before they find you. Scorpions glow under a black light and this item is a good tool to assist in looking under furniture, in cracks, around base-boards, and on the floor at night to find scorpions. This flashlight (black light) is used in Arizona by people who go scorpion hunting outdoors, but we also have a few scorpions in Arkansas. When my parents developed a scorpion problem last year, I decided to purchase this item to help clear the inside of the house as much as possible. Glue traps were also of great value and we get those from our local exterminator.

Bought 4 UV flashlights. This one is the best so far. It is bright and the on/off button is at the end of the flashlight instead of in the middle of the handle. I have one with 28 LED's that has the on/off button in the middle of the handle and the rubber has fallen off plus it does not keep a good connection. This is shorter than other UV flashlights but it packs a good punch.

I had a smaller version of this light that worked for about a year. I eventually had to bang it in my hand to make it work.I replaced it with this bigger model. The 32 LED version is more powerful and identifies scorpions more easily. However, after only a few months, I am again having to slap it in my hand to keep all the lights on. It fails but from a higher mode of performance. Next time, I might try a different manufacturer putting out the same wavelength of 285-290.

No scorpions here in upstate NY, so I bought this to find cat issues. Works somewhat well for that purpose, depending on what the issue is. Still haven't figured out why some stains are very bright while some are barely visible. I've also used it to find some small screws and what not that have fallen on the carpet and I can't see in the normal lighting.

I do love this item. I am in Afghanistan and I thought that once I got this light, I wouldn't have a problem finding any scorpions. Much to my chagrin...I haven't. But, the light does work very well and it will pick up items that react to it from VERY far away, unfortunately for me they haven't been scorpions! But, that is not the fault of the manufacturer...just my rotten luck.

The scorpions have over run my back yard. Killed then with fire and a stick. Flash light is great and does what it needs... but now since there's no scorpions. The spiders and roaches roam the back yard. Worked too well.

Lights up scorpions from a good distance with a bright yellow glow. Would like a little more power for a large backyard, but overall this light does the trick. Works great in the house when the lights are off. Overall, this is not an extra powerful light, but it gets the job done.
