Millie's Chickens

This book it super cute. We acquired 6 chicks for our first backyard flock and this book is a great compliment to our new lifestyle for my nearly 4 year old. It's easy to follow, has a nice flow and is informative. She loves it! The only problem is now she wants a Silkie to add to our flock. Haha.

This book is great! It has lots of facts about raising backyard chickens, but is done with rhyming words and fun pictures. Even my one year old loves it.

Book had torn pages that were just taped back together, crayon all over, and the hardcover was all indented and crushed corners, I will not be gifting this to my pregnant friend because it looks awful.

Our daughter wanted a book about chickens after we got our own backyard hens, so we picked this book up for her. It's a cute story for children about raising happy chickens. It's also got a section in the back with facts about the breeds featured in the book. Last thing of note, the pages and cover are of a nice quality paper so they should stand up to tiny fingers helping to turn pages.Highly recommend if you're looking for a kids book about chickens.
