It works on the right discs and if you take the time.
First things first. This product will not repair damage done to the data side of your disk. If you are torching this product because it did not fix a game disk or a CD that you have been using it as a drink coaster or a car floor mat that's on you. Not the product. So. Hold the disc up to a light. If you see pinholes of light coming through this product will not repair the data that was scraped off. It will however work incredibly to remove what I can only call oxidation or tarnish that collects on the underside of a disk. It will fix light scratches and do a pretty decent job on heavier scratches. It has a pleasant scent. I never got the hang of putting the disc on a flat surface I just flat palmed in my non dominant hand. One small pea sized drop will do. it and you have to polish it like you are beating egg whites with an egg beater. Circles. Evenly. Smoothly with a flat glasses cleaning cloth without any wrinkles or folds under your fingers. And it takes longer than you think it needs or deserves. And NOT TOO HARD. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ALSO BUY THEIR SHAMMIES/CLOTHS. As stupid as they sound. They work. And I am not responsible for you damaging anything. Sorry.

The best and least expensive way to fix discs
I used a product like this years ago and loved it. I was happy to find this does the same! I've had some REALLY damaged discs from getting a bunch of CDs from people who have moved on to streaming (their loss) and have successfully fixed most discs without a problem. Advise: If you are able to, but a bench buffer with a buffing wheel and polish wheel to really fix some of the worst discs. It takes some practice to get how much pressure you can use to buffing out scratches without "burning" into the Disc coating but once you figure it out, this product will really help you bring back the discs you thought were gone.

Doesn't remove or fix scratches.
This doesn't really remove any scratches, it just cleans the disc.

WORKS GREAT TO REPAIR CDs THAT SKIP DUE TO SMALL SCRATCHES
I had several discs with minor scratches that were skipping. This stuff solved the problem! Just put a small amount on the disc, wipe it off with a microfiber cloth and get no more skips.
