AGO QnA Blue (level 1.5)

I teach low level ESL. It's been a challenge to find fun, educational games because so many are too complicated for the level I teach. AGO cards are probably the best that I've found. They're similar to UNO (enough that students immediately understand how to play) but they require language use to advance in the game. My students really enjoy them as well. I've bought up a whole supply and bring them out when my class needs a boost.

This set of cards is a nice way to encourage little ones to speak about different topics. There are certain set of questions with possible things to include in the question and how to answer it. If you are playing with kids that still cannot read, you can ask the question, model the answer and then let them answer the following questions. Each card has different options to be used with the same question. They are colorful and good quality I just wish they were a little bigger since they have tons of info that would be easier to process if there was extra room.

I guess this might be helpful for an ESL teacher or someone who is trying to learn English. The cards are small as are the printed questions and corresponding pictures. Some of the questions appear rather pointless. How much of a discussion will ensue about what bugs you like to catch? Or are they noisy or scary?

this is a set of playing cards that encourages english conversation while playing the game, it’s very similar to the uno card game, but added guidelines to ask a question to next player with number cards, there is no right or wrong answer, the purpose of the question is just for practising asking and answering common questions in english this game is a good tool for non-english speaker who want to practise spoken english through a card game; for native english speaker, it’s still a good family game to play and talk with kids we had a great family time with this game, would recommend

students can naturally learn best through play the various grammar structures that make up the English language, and it complements almost any coursebook well, As playing cards appear in random order, the cards great for revision, and each game is different!

What a great educational card pack to play with the kids. They get to read and learn in a really easy and fun way. The cards are well made and questions and colours are well presented. There are 54 cards in the pack, with 36 question and answer card and 18 action cards which are a great addition. Overall, we very happy with the cards and it’s been helpful and fun at the same time.

A lovely game that encourages children to ask and answer questions while learning and having fun. The cards are very colourful so great on the eye. Creates hours of fun at home but would also be great to use in the classroom as well. This would also make a lovely stocking filler with Christmas around the corner.
