This comes complete with pretty much everything you'd need to start metal detecting.l would recommend purchasing a pinpointer to complete the kit as the pinpoint mode on this is OK for general area but not accurate enough to prevent excess digging. Assembly is easy, instruction book short and easy to follow and understand. Only issue lve had is with the spade which bent straightaway in soft lawn!

Absolutely great machine,very accurate and pleasing to use. Far too heavy for kids though and some petit ladies might struggle. 8/10.

This is a relatively middle-range metal detector. It comes with all the essential kit to use the detector out of the box, once you’ve gone through the slightly fiddly process of assembling the item. The model I received though is the version that does not include headphones. You will need headphones but perhaps have some spare ones at home.The battery life of the unit is only 30 minutes which is a little disappointing and whilst it has reasonable water ingress protection at Ip 68 it could be better. There’s also no carry case or shovel included which most similar detectors come with. It’s relatively low price may be a false economy as a result.More positively build quality for the price is good and the screen is easy to read. There are also a number of search options which makes the metal detector fairly easy to use.Overall this detector is OK. This would be good machine for someone to buy who was thinking about getting into metal detectors.Three stars.

Assembled with ease.Searched an area of grass where my wife had lost a gold ring the day before but failed to find it.The display was a little difficult to understand.

Looking to replace a very ancient fisher,didn't want to spend a fortune,read a very favorable review on this machine,it sounded too good to be true.Ordered it,came the next day,build quality is very good indeed,and as I said very capable,discrimination works as it should,no problem finding items 8" + deep,waterproof coil works well on the beach too. So far have been very pleased with it.

Simple to put together and get to using. The intuitive display and simple icons to choose from make setting up the detector pretty straightforward. The instruction manual does a nice job of explaining the various detecting metods and materials. Not too heavy to carry around for periods of time. Have yet to find anything exciting at the beach, but will report back when I do!

Es ist sicher kein professionelles Gerät aber wir konnten allerlei metallische Gegenstände im Garten meiner Mutter finden.

He adquirido este aparato principalmente para la búsqueda de objetos, aunque tiene otras funciones que pueden ser útiles en alguna circunstancia como por ejemplo la detección de cables o tuberías en paredes y suelos. Ya tuve otro detector desde hace unos 15 años, por lo que algo entiendo del tema, aunque no soy un experto. Paso a explicar mi experiencia tras un mes con el detallando lo bueno y lo malo que he encontrado.- Empaquetado: En este apartado se nota que han cuidado los detalles, viene todo perfectamente guardado, ordenado y protegido en una caja bastante estética. El paquete incluye el detector, una mochila, 2 pilas de 9V, una herramienta de excavación con su propia funda, auriculares y manual de instrucciones.- Almacenamiento: El detector puede desmontarse por completo de una forma muy fácil y rápida, solamente abriendo o cerrando unas pestañas y queda de un tamaño muy pequeño, pudiéndose guardar en la mochila que incluye y aun sobra espacio para mucho más. Si no se quiere desmontar, se puede reducir mucho su tamaño, pero en este caso en vez separar las barras se meten unas dentro de otras. Ambas operaciones se realizan en menos de un minuto, tanto para montar como para desmontar. Para el montaje puede hacerlo incluso un niño, las piezas tienen formas específicas para que no haya opción a error. Además, gracias a su brazo totalmente modificable en cuanto a longitud, sirve para personas de todas las alturas.- Funcionamiento: Es muy sencillo, tiene pocas opciones y pocos modos, y todo esto es visible de forma muy gráfica en la pantalla. Cada vez que detecta un material parpadea el símbolo de la tabla periódica del metal que ha detectado junto dibujos de objetos o monedas que suelen ser de ese material, además de una aproximación de la profundidad a la que se encuentra. Una vez detectado un metal se puede cambiar a modo pinpointer de una forma tan rápida como pulsando un botón y de esta forma identificar de forma más específica el lugar del objeto. Me parece un funcionamiento muy fácil y accesible para cualquier persona que comienza en este mundo.- Detección: Es buena y discrimina muy bien los tipos de metal, comete algún fallo, pero eso ocurre en todos los detectores que he probado. He encontrado clavos a más de 15cm de profundidad. No he probado su detección bajo el agua pues, aunque sea impermeable IP68 no me gusta maltratar mis cosas sin necesidad.- Herramienta de excavación: Me ha sorprendido su calidad, me imaginaba que se iba a doblar o romper al primer golpe, pero no, es muy resistente, la he usado con fuerza y en suelos llenos de rocas y se mantiene como nueva como puede verse en las fotos. Además, incluye una funda para plegarlo y guardarlo, pudiendo llevarlo incluso en el bolsillo del pantalón. Además, incluye una brújula que es un detalle.Fallos y mejoras, según mi criterio, experiencia y opinión personal.- Algunos materiales utilizados me parecen de poca calidad para algunas partes, por ejemplo, el soporte como el tornillo y la tuerca que sujetan el plato con el brazo son de plástico, y no de un plástico que parezca demasiado bueno. Creo que es una zona muy frágil que soporta mucho movimiento e incluso puede que algún golpe y creo que una pieza metálica inoxidable mejoraría mucho la calidad del dispositivo sin aumentar demasiado su peso o su precio. No veo ningún sentido en utilizar un tornillo y una tuerca de plástico, que si te pasas un poquito de fuerza se pasa la rosca y rompes el tornillo.- Las pinzas o interruptores que sujetan las barras telescópicas también son de plástico, un mecanismo que se usa muy a menudo y que ejerce presión a una pieza no tiene sentido que sea de plástico, pues si se rompe una sola de esas pinzas, aunque el detector funcione perfectamente, no puedes utilizarlo pues el brazo queda inservible.- Una mejora que veo fácil y barata de instalar es unos enganches o soportes para pasar el cable del plato a la pantalla. En las instrucciones pone que lo enrolles alrededor del brazo, pero aun así queda colgando en algunas partes y molestando. Unos pequeños soportes o enganches que agarrasen el cable y lo mantuvieran sujeto mejoraría mucho la experiencia.- Otra mejora creo que sería la instalación de una batería en vez de que funcione con pilas. Actualmente todos los aparatos funcionan con baterías y sería más seguro que las pilas para el mantenimiento del aparato, pues yo después de cada uso tengo que retirarlas para evitar que las pilas se estropeen y llenen todo de ácida, además de que se gasten las pilas y tener que comprar 2 pilas de 9V que es un gasto mayor que cualquier batería de litio que hubieran instalado en el aparato.En conclusión, me parece una opción muy buena para utilizarlo de forma esporádica y básica, perfecto para empezar en este mundillo y aprender.
