Foolproof Freeform Embroidery: Exploring Your Creativity with Fabric, Threads & Stitches

I'm fairly new to freeform embroidery, and this book makes it easy to produce really beautiful embroideries by taking you step by step adding the different stages as you go. The photography is excellent and the stitches are easy to follow. There are some lovely examples of stitched pieces in the book. I really like the instructions of how to make a simple stitch book, something I've been meaning to do for ages. I have two of the author's other books, and they just keep getting better! I will treasure this book, it's amazing!

If you are an Embroider but would like to step up a little more and enhance your work the this is the book you need, it is very well illustrated with beautiful colors and design, Jennifer Couston is a superb designer and wonderful writer, you can learn a lot from her books , I have found this book to be of great help to me and a pleasure to use.

I waited to use this book before giving a review. It goes without saying it is a beautifully designed and photographed book but the content exceeds expectations. You can choose a basic frame for your piece then add (step by step) various components to make the most beautiful flower embroidery projects and Jennifer guides you through each step. Suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers, the stitches are included at the back so no need to worry and Jennifer shows you how to design your own composition. It is full of inspiration . Highly recommend.

So beautiful and well explained, I absolutely love this book and author. I watch Jennifer Clouston on YouTube she is a fabulous teacher.

A beautiful book with clear details and instructions of how to create more depth to embroidery stitches. As someone who only started embroidery a year ago and am keen to develop on basic stitches, I have found this book inspiring.
