Happy I found this
Used this core drill to make a whole for plumbing in an old 6 inch concrete slab. I am sure there is better core drills but if you need to drill just a few wholes this one works very well and there is nothing to complain about. It might even drill many wholes. Built quality was satisfactory and the size is accurate. No whobble and the adapter sits very well in the thread. The price is great too.

A good 4 1/2" core drill bit
Works great. drilled through 4" of concrete. Used water to help keep it cool. Far cheaper than driving to town and having to rent one. I am pleased with its performance

Worked great on old brick. Saved me money over paying someone to do.
Worked great. Held up well to 100+ year old 4 brick thick walls x2 holes with the 2 3/4” bit. I initially used an older Bosch SDS Hammer drill with the hammer setting off (as is nicely written on a sticker on the side of the new bit to remind you). That clutched drill ended up not working as well as a cheap standard 1/2” hammer drill from Far From Great Harbor Freight (also with hammer mode off) which did not have a clutch. Found it very nice that this core bit included both SDS and standard drill attachments! Be prepared to feather the trigger because it does bind up occasionally and you could be in for a black eye if you’re not careful and it gets away from you! I even hit the corner of a steel I beam at one point and had to adjust my hole by about 1” to avoid hitting it. Despite the metal I beam and the old and very hard brick, each 12” deep hole only required about 5-10 minutes of actual drilling. I allowed a bit of time every few minutes for my HF drill to cool down. Even with hitting metal, the teeth/diamonds still look great and clearly have more life in them! Everyone said to use the 2 3/4” bit for mini split line set (1/4” and 3/8” lines from Della), but I could’ve easily fit them thru 2 1/2” or probably even 2 1/4” hole… I used a small piece of 1/2” plywood with a similar sized hole cut in it that I pressed by hand against the brick to guide my core bit in order to get the hole started about 1/4” deep after which I then removed the plywood… worked great to keep the bit from wandering. As long and heavy as this bit plus a rotary drill is on a ladder, I had a very hard time starting the hole accurately without the plywood centering guide, even trying at an angle like the instruction sheet says. Also, once started, I used the HERCULES Hammer Drilling Universal Dust Collection Attachment from HF with a small shop vac to collect a lot of the dust and it worked well even tho it said only for bits 2 5/8” max… I removed the brushed baffles by clicking it out and 2 3/4” core bit fit like a glove! Good luck! If you need to drill a big hole in masonry, go for it. This bit worked great for me! Wear your eye, ear, and dust protection!

Good Budget Core Bit for Limited Projects, Not Heavy Daily Use
I used this SALI 4" diamond core drill bit for a couple of concrete drilling projects where I needed a reasonably priced option without stepping up to a much more expensive professional-grade bit. For the price, it performed better than expected. It cut cleanly through concrete and maintained decent speed as long as pressure and cooling were managed properly. The 5/8-11 thread fit securely on my equipment without any issues, and the laser-welded segments appeared solid during use. For occasional work, this is a good value. It’s capable enough for homeowners, light contractors, or anyone tackling a limited number of drilling jobs without wanting to spend premium money on a bit that may sit unused afterward. The drilling depth is also useful for thicker walls and slab penetrations where shorter bits become limiting. The reason this isn’t a 5-star rating is durability over extended use. In my experience, this is more of a one- or two-job core bit rather than something I’d expect to survive heavy daily professional use. It works well within its intended price range, but if you’re drilling large numbers of holes commercially, you’ll probably want a higher-end bit with longer lifespan and faster cutting consistency.

Low cost and Amazing Performance!
I don't normally leave reviews, but this thing surprised me so I had to. Its low cost made me worried about the quality, but it managed to get through my poured wall foundation with ease. Use water and go slow.

Works great, money saver
Used it to drill through a concrete foundation wall, worked great. Saved more than $100 instead of buying through Lowes.

Like a hot knife through butter!
I used this 2" diamond core bit to widen an existing 1½" hole in the brick at my daughter's house when installing a new sump pump and it worked like a charm! I created a guide by drilling a 2" hole in a scrap piece of 1x8 and centered it over the original hole, then secured it with a couple of Tapcons. My daughter misted the core bit as I operated the drill (Makita ⅜" hammer drill with the hammer function turned OFF). I was amazed with how smoothly and cleanly it cut the hole! I had originally planned to rent a rotary hammer and bit from Depot and have this as my "plan B" if none were available to rent, which ended up being the case, and it cost much less that renting the tool and bit. I don't know if I'll ever have to cut another 2-in hole in masonry, but I know this bit will do the job as it has very little wear, if any, and was only a little scraped up a little after this job. I usually don't leave reviews, but I thought I'd share my success story with others as I was quite impressed with the function of this bit.

Almost perfect
The hole saw is 5 stars, but the SDS threaded bit shattered while cutting my 6th hole. Fortunately, it also came with a threaded bit for a drill too. I was able to finish my project.

Quality 4 ‘’ core drill for thick cement wall
A quality 4’’ core drill for cement wall surpass my expectation , it took about 10 minutes to drill a 6’’ deep hole. Hope it may last a few more times. It would be great if any a guide drill to help startup

Funciona tal cual esperaba
Excelente.
