Fantastic
Bought these to patch up some rips on my jeans. Ironed on so easily, colour was a good contrast to the light shade of my jeans. Good quality denim look patches. Stayed put after the wash.

Still holding up reasonably.
I fitted mine in a high stress area of my jeans and its still holding up OK after around 7 miles of walking, though it has loosened at the edges in a couple of places. To get the best out of this product you need to set your iron to maximum heat (no steam) and apply hard pressure to the patch for as long as it takes to fully adhere.

Didn't stay on . . .
Ironed on easy, but after one wash started to come off. Now after several, the patch is no more.

Works well and saved a pair of jeans
Used this to fix a split in the bum of my daughters Jeans and one in the knee that came with the jeans but has enlarged and has made them draughty. I had to iron the patch on the inside of the jeans as it would have looked strange on the outside. To stop the glue side showing through the split I ironed a smaller piece of the patch onto the glued side so that when the patch was ironed on that smaller patch of denim showed through. It was a a really great effect and feels tough and like it will last. It’s easy to cut and use and works well if you follow the instructions.

Adhesive is PATHETIC
The idea of an iron on repair patch is good, unfortunately this product fails miserably. Followed the instructions to the letter, put some weight on the 'repair' as it cooled. The 'repair' fell apart almost instantly.

Great patch if you apply it properly
Great stuff. This took only a couple of minutes to fix a rip in an expensive pair of walking trousers. Easy to cut, position and iron on. So far it has stayed put following a standard wash without having to sew around the edges of the patch. After using these types of patches before, I wonder if a few of the negative reviews and patch failures were down to not being careful enough when applying and fixing in place. It is vital that you use a really hot iron which can be a problem if your original fabric cannot take a lot of heat. Also worth switching off your steam function on your iron and keep it dry heat. You will need to apply a reasonable amount of pressure and enough time to really heat and melt the glue to bond fully - particularly the edges. Try picking the corners a little and if there is any play, re-apply more heat and pressure until completely joined. Also, make sure you make the patch large enough so that the edges are bonding to stable fabric all the way round, rather than a frayed part that could work loose or continue to rip.I have only washed these once but stayed firm so far.

Easy enough to use but they do peel off very quickly. Not really worth bothering with. Perhaps if you combine with sticking or even son superglue???
