Great radio. Battery lasts 3+ hours. Good volume. Definitely better built than other models on the market. I paid the extra price for its features and brand reputation.

Excellent portable
The RANDY II FCC is an excellent radio out of the box but with a little tuning then hooked up to a President Florida magnet mount antenna I was able to transmit clearly around 5 (+/-1) none obstructed bee line miles maybe more.

DO NOT BUY. Waste of money.
This is the absolute WORST CB radio I have ever used. I’ve tried multiple antennas including a large base station antenna, I’ve tried tuning the antennas. I’ve tried multiple things that should work. I’ve even tried to use it on the rooftop of an incredibly tall building located next to the freeway in downtown Tulsa. I’m already past my return window unfortunately. This radio is a complete waste of money and suggest that everyone steers clear of the president Randy 2. You absolutely will be incredibly disappointed.
