This cartoon was a take on those stories that managed to combine the best of both eras, being as silly and outlandish as stories from the printed page In the 60's and 60's, but with more modern storytelling styles allowing you to find it all fun rather than dated.This is in the style of that series, so it's a delightful return to what was a very entertaining take on Batman. It brings back some of the original voice cast as well, with Diedrich Bader once again Batman. And with John DiMaggio's outrageously entertaining take on Aquaman.Scooby wise, Matthew Lillard who has played Shaggy a fair few times once again does his voice, and Kate Micucci returns to the Velma role.The animation for the Scooby gang does fit very nicely into this style, so it's a seamless merging of the two series.The plot sees them visit Gotham. And when an old case that Batman could never crack comes back to life, find themselves in all sorts of problem. Who will be the greatest detective and save the day?This is great fun for those of all ages. Scooby fans. DC comics fans. It's very funny, especially with some clever self referencing at points. It has great appearances from other dc characters. It's got a really good and clever plot, which keeps turning and twisting right to the very end. And it's perfectly suitable for those of absolutely all ages. I loved this movie and watched it frequently. I have unfortunately lost the disk as a result of lending it to someone.

Had the batman 60s tv show vibes but batman and scooby doo didn't really mix. Nice effort tho. A Batman and Spiderman crossover would work better.

it was a good film it's about scooby and the gang team up with batman and other DC characters to helpto slove a mystery in gotham .i bought this item because it was funny and good film.

My sons got every Scooby doo film DVD, be careful when looking for them, as there is a very dodgy Scooby ( porn) DVD on the same search
