Pimm's Plastic Coctail Jug 1.5 Litre

I have a large glass jug this size that I could have filled with Pimms for a recent party but this last minute impulse buy saved me having to tell everyone what was in the jug.Its a good quality sturdy plastic item that looks like glass from a distance. I imagine it will get scratched and dull with age but so long as that logo remains clear it will be in use.

This jug does the job and pours really well. I have to say it is overpriced and i do regret paying this much for a plastic jug but i guess you are paying for it being 'Pimm's' and it was a bit of a last minute buy for a garden party!

Good size and looks stylish. Great for long Summer drinks. I need the glasses to match.

The jug arrived in good time, at the beginning of the promised delivery window. Although the box was rather squashed the jug was protected with lots of bubble wrap. Not 100% clean, has a smear across it. It doesn't look like I expected, it is fat and squat, not tall and thin like the picture, although the markings etc are identical - perhaps the picture was stretched vertically. Feels like brittle plastic, quite thin - I doubt it'll last well.I thought an "ice lip" was a thing to prevent all the ice falling out - but it seems to be the reverse, it's a sort of fluted shape that looks designed to encourage the ice to fall out when you pour - and perhaps it is - that would be my fault for not knowing what an "ice lip" is!Anyway I bought it as a gift for an American friend who loves Pimm's, and this is the branded Pimm's product, so no point complaining - it is as it is and I'm paying for the brand.The seller seems top notch, though - delivery well within promised time, and well enough protected. It was delivered by a nice lady in a private car, not a delivery firm.
