Flawless, Pixel-Perfect Note Taking—Just Check Your Compatibility First
The Apple Pencil (USB-C) is an absolute game-changer for digital note-taking, sketching, and navigating your iPad. It delivers the signature, top-tier Apple stylus experience: pixel-perfect precision, virtually zero lag, and excellent tilt sensitivity that makes shading feel incredibly natural. Whether you are signing documents, annotating PDFs, or studying, the hardware performance is flawless and feels just like pen on paper. The integration of the hidden USB-C charging port under the sliding cap is sleek, and it magnetically attaches to the side of compatible iPads for easy storage. However, it is vital to double-check your exact iPad model before buying. Because Apple has multiple generations of pencils, this specific USB-C version does not feature pressure sensitivity (unlike the 2nd Gen or Pro) and only charges via a cable rather than inductively on the side of the tablet. If you primarily need a rock-solid tool for writing, drawing, and schoolwork, it offers exceptional value—just make sure it matches your device. The Pros: Flawless Precision: Pixel-perfect accuracy with zero noticeable lag makes writing and sketching incredibly smooth. Natural Tilt Sensitivity: Responds beautifully to the angle of your hand, perfect for variable line weights and shading. Magnetic Storage: Conveniently snaps onto the side of your iPad so it doesn't roll off your desk. Sleek Charging Design: Features a clever, well-constructed sliding cap that protects the USB-C charging port. The Cons: No Pressure Sensitivity: Lacks the pressure-reliant stroke variance found on the pricier Apple Pencil models, which may limit advanced digital artists. No Magnetic Charging: While it sticks to the iPad magnetically for storage, it requires a physical USB-C cable to actually charge. Confusing Lineup Compatibility: Must be paired with specific iPad models; easy to accidentally purchase for an unsupported device if you don't check Apple's compatibility list first.

Definitely worth it!
Fantastic pen. Easy to charge ( longer charge cord would be nice, I used my own “D” cord). Connected to my tablet no problem and the charge light changes color when its is time to charge. I don’t have an exact time on how long the charge lasts but it hasn’t died on me while I’ve been working so that’s all I I can say at the moment. Can’t be the value for the price!

The best experience for note-taking!
The Apple Pencil (USB-C) is my favorite part of the Apple ecosystem. (I use it on an iPad A16 model.) The pencil is slightly weighted which makes the usage experience pleasant and grounding. It fits comfortably in my hand and the responsiveness is so smooth! It writes so good. The pencil charges super fast too. I highly recommend this product! It was worth every penny.

Good pencil
Works good. Charges quickly smooth on screen. Connects instantly. Super easy to set up. Good deal for what it is. And love how it always works the same on each app

Love it
I love my Apple Pencil so much. I love how well it picks up my handwriting and how easy it is to use. Seems to have a pretty good battery life and I’d say is worth what I paid for it.

Sleek Design, Smooth Writing, and a Fun Tool for Artists and Everyday Use
The Apple Pencil (USB-C) is a streamlined and affordable option for users who want Apple’s signature precision without the premium price of higher-end models. Designed primarily for note-taking, sketching, and everyday creative tasks, it delivers the smooth, low-latency performance Apple Pencil is known for. Writing feels natural, with accurate pressure response and excellent palm rejection when used with supported iPads. This version connects and charges via USB-C, making it convenient for users who prefer a simple wired setup and already rely on USB-C accessories. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and magnetically attaches to compatible iPads for storage, though it does not support wireless charging or pairing. While it lacks advanced features like pressure sensitivity for artistic shading or double-tap gesture controls found in Apple Pencil (2nd generation), it still performs exceptionally well for students, professionals, and casual users. However, a device compatibility check is essential before making a purchase. The Apple Pencil (USB-C) works only with select iPad models, and it does not support older Lightning-based iPads. Additionally, artists who rely on advanced drawing features may find this model somewhat limited. Overall, the Apple Pencil (USB-C) is a well-built, reliable stylus that excels at core tasks. If your iPad is compatible and your needs are focused on writing, annotating, and basic drawing, it offers excellent value within Apple’s ecosystem.

Sadly no more fashion walk to the pencil sharpener. And don't chew on it!
First off let me share some thoughts on this version of the two options. This one, the usb version is good for those that like to doodle or using the handwriting functions. You have to plug the cable into the usb pencil and the tablet to pair them and the same for anything you want to pair the pencil to. The advantage to the usb pencil is if you have a case on your tablet you can still charge this pencil. The one that connects magnetically to the tablet you may have to remove the case to charge the pencil. I had a thought that you may be able to use a stand alone magsafe style wireless charger for the pro pencil. The largest difference I see is this. The usb version doesn't have half the sensors of the pro. So if you are an artist or more than a doodler you'll want the pro. Oh!! If you use a screen protector know it will cause the pencil to slide very quickly! I like the pencil. It has a good weight it works very well for everything I have tried it for.

Not perfect but a good pencil for a good price.
Not as user friendly as the original pencil and battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long. After about 4 hours of being charged it was down to 46%. That was intermittent use and non use, with about 3 hours actual use. To charge the original pencil I pulled off the end exposing the lightening connector and plugged it into the receptacle on my iPad. This requires a USB-C cable connection from either the charger or the iPad. Admittedly, it’s not that big a deal, but it feels like a step backwards from the original. The battery longevity is a little more irksome. The pencil is very easy to use, and I’m actually amazed at how the iPad is able to generate text when I write with it, even with my sometimes barely legible script. Much improved over the original. I can live with the minor irritations because it’s a good value for the price.

Def buy it
I needed a pen to write on my iPad so I bought meta pen first after some research. But the writing started lagging so I just returned that one and bought Apple Pencil. Hate that it’s expensive but def must have item if u want to take notes. I like the charging portal, and not having to charge the old way lol I used to have the Apple Pencil lightening cable one and pro both were good but this one is best by far for the price.

Excelente!
El producto viene en buen estado, la caja estaba un poco abollada pero nada preocupante, el pencil es original así que es de alta calidad, su conectividad es buena y es fácil de usar, su batería dura demasiado y se carga rapidísimo, sin duda vale la pena la inversión

Very useful
Very satisfied with this Apple Pencil; while it is only rechargeable by cable it's very useful and a lot cheaper than the other versions especially if bought on sale. It has been very useful with drawing. While it does lack pressure sensitivity, it is very easy to use as a beginner who doesn't necessarily need that.
