Excellent service! Zorn is Sweden’s master painter and the volume covers his exhibition in the USA some years ago.

Have not had time to read this yet looking forward to it…only given a quick view but it is a beautiful book with quality prints of paintings by Zorn.

Beautifully illustrated book about this amazing painter from Sweden who seems to have been forgotten by those teaching art nowadays. Fabulous and well worth the cost.

THIS IS A GOOD BOOK ON ANDERS ZORN THE REPRODUCTIONS ARE EXCELLENT .A PART OF HIS WORK THAT IS MOSTLY MEDIOCRE ARE THE PORTRAITS HE HAD TO DO IN ORDER TOMAKE A LIVING.ARTISTICALLY HE WAS WASTING HIS TIME .SOROLLA,S AND REPIN,S WORK SUFFER IN THE SAME WAY .,UNFORTUNATELY.

Whilst this book is superb, a lot of Zorns works are left out. You DO though get a very good selection, but some of his landscapes with land girls are missing? Just a little point......I wished they’d printed the sizes and dates of the paintings under the actual plates. Instead, they’re in the index at the back. Why have an index? It’s a clumsy way to do it. You have to keep on turning backwards and forwards to see information. I love this artist so much.......recommended.

Arrived safely, and on time, and was exactly as described. Very good purchase with excellent images and good narrative text.

Sans doute le plus beau livre sur ZORN en ce moment à la vente grande qualité d'impression , nombreuses toiles , ce livre est un grand format , et tres bien illustré tres belle qualité , les photos des œuvres de Zorn y sont nombreuses et grandes . je ne comprendrai jamais ces mauvais commentaires ou le client juge le colis arrivé en retard ou endommagé ...et qui ne jugent pas l’œuvre , ce manque de discernement est affligeant . bref superbe livre ! Achetez !

This large volume was the companion ‘catalogue’ to an exhibition of Anders Zorn’s works. While it is not exhaustive in its presentation of his art it does provide a very nice sampling from this amazing, somewhat under-recognized, Swedish artist. Zorn was a contemporary of the more well known American painter Sargeant and they apparently shared similar techniques and a bit of professional rivalry. Zorn is noted for the quality of ‘light’ in his paintings which have an ‘impressionist’ aspect while also presenting meticulous detail reminiscent of the Pre Raphaelite movement. He was equally adept in the mediums of watercolour, oil painting, and etching - all of which are displayed to good advantage within this book - including a few small bronze sculptures. This is a beautifully produced book with excellent quality reproductions and much informative text. I only wish it was twice the size so that it included more of this master’s works. This is a great introduction to this amazing artist - highly recommended!

素晴らしい技術で葯９９点の油彩画、エッチング１９点描かれている。 突き詰めた作品から、印象派風の作品まで人物・群像図・婦人・風景等 様々なジャンルの絵を 作品化している。エッチングは、鋭いストロークで対象を見事に捉えている。 個人的には、油彩画では、エルンスト・ジョセフソン サマーバケーション ムーシュ・モーリ セント・アイヴスの魚市場（この作品は構成が優れている) ４作品が素晴らしい作品と思う。
