I have pretty awful neuropathy in both feet, plus sciatica. Bad enough that both conditions have sent me to the ER for help. I don't use opiates at home because the potential for addiction terrifies me and because I don't want my life lost in a haze of fog. So I rely on neurontin, Cymbalta and ibuprofen to get through the day... along with trying everything under the sun from Biofreeze, to TENS use, to foot baths, to lidocaine patches, to "you name it". The results are always mixed, and I'm usually left still in a lot of pain but bearing it. Then I came across Sombra here on Amazon and, like many, I was skeptical. But I figured it wasn't that expensive, and lord knows I've tried crazier stuff to deal with this nightmare. I won't claim this is going to work for you... I think when you're talking ANY chronic pain condition, everyone reacts differently to therapies. My husband and I both have neuropathy, and in both our cases, it's caused by spinal issues rather than diabetes... so maybe it would be different for someone with diabetic neuropathy, I don't know. What I can say is that, for both of us, this stuff borders on the miraculous. And not only for our neuropathy. We basically put it on each other from our lower back, down over our buttocks and hips and then all the way down to our feet. It has helped with our back pain, hip pain and even his restless leg syndrome. The effects last around 24 hours for him, 12 for me. We're both able to MASSAGE this into our feet. Anyone with severe neuropathy knows why that's such a big deal. Seriously, can you imagine being able to rub your arches with your thumbs? Impossible, right?!? Not with this stuff... not for us. We do wear latex gloves to apply it. The smell can be quite strong since we're using it on such a large area of the body, but we don't find it unpleasant and it doesn't seem to linger. The gloves are mostly because he's so sensitive to anything like this near his eyes, and doesn't want to risk not washing it all off his hands. We both love the way it applies and how it is soaked up quickly by our skin. It also doesn't leave us feeling dried out the way other topicals do. Sombra has definitely found loyal customers in us. We're really thankful this product exists!

Wonderful product I use this on my shoulders, neck and back when I have migraine headaches. The smell is not overwhelming.It is a great product someone told me about for migraine headaches. Sometimes I wake up and almost everything on my body aches. I apply once and so relaxing to my aches and pains.

I’ve been suffering from a kidney stone and infection and the pain is brutal!! My mom gave me some of this and 10 mins later my pain was almost completely gone. This cream has been saving me!

I have tried several gel pain relievers and nothing compares to this product. I no longer have to take Aleve or Ibuprofen. I get alot of tension headaches with pain and tightness across the shoulders and neck, and lower back/hip pain. I will put this on at night and the next morning the pain is gone. Everyone I have recommended this to have also said it works great for sports injuries to just general muscle aches. Has an orange minty smell that is strong at first but the smell doesn’t last. I’ve even put on before going to work and no one noticed.

Love this cream/gel since my massage and accupuncurist clinic recommended it a long time ago. It's got an intense freezing/warming kinda of kick and really helps relax muscle pain. Not greasy or slimy. Smells fresh and soothing.

It’s a very good product. I discovered it many years back when in Palm Springs. I like it because it is natural and it works...and I would rather use this product than those commercial products that u buy at drugstore... but remember like anything, it’s not a cure. It helps for muscle pain and the smell is awesome....
