How long does each filter last?

It depends on the speed with which you run your unit, and how dirty the environment/air is. My machine has lights on it that turn amber then red according to an internal clock that you manually reset when you put new filters in. I generally never replace my filters when those turn red because my environment is fairly clean to start with. Also, my unit has a pre-filter in the bottom that you clean to keep more particulate from going up into the other filters. Each filter type has its own recommended replacement schedule. My unit is as follows per manufacturer specs: IQ Air HealthPro Plus. Prefilter: approx 18mnths @10hrs/day on 3 V5-Cell: approx 2yrs @10hrs/day on 3 HyperHEPA filter: approx 4yrs @10hrs/day on speed 3.
