A shampoo for people with thin hair, but thick wallets
My experience has been a mixed bag. It dutifully cleans my hair, but at £29, it doesn't come without reservations. One notable aspect is its consistency – a tad on the liquidy side. I'm accustomed to shampoos with a bit more thickness, facilitating a satisfying lather that I find missing in this formulation. This could be a matter of personal preference, but it does affect my overall satisfaction. As for effectiveness, it's a bit challenging to gauge since I tend to switch up my shampoo routine. Not being an everyday user, I'm aware that for optimal results, a daily application might be necessary. This feels somewhat paradoxical, given the caution against daily shampooing for hair health. The conundrum is compounded by the fact that this particular shampoo demands a £29 investment. In essence, it's a functional cleanser, but the balance between cost, consistency, and the required frequency of use tempers my enthusiasm.

It's okay!
At the age I am, it's natural to see more hair on the brush and in the plug hole in the shower, so I'm always interested to try products which claim to help. The shampoo is fine. I used more than I would with other shampoos to get a really good lather. I left it on for a minute as instructed. It has a mild and sort of indistinct scent. Not unpleasant, but I had to really think about what it reminded me of and eventually I realised it's the same kind of scent you get with a hand wash in a pub bathroom, or a service station! So, it smells clean – but not heavenly or luxurious. I wonder if it's because it's marketed for both men and women: a neutral scent, rather than anything very perfumey or aftershave-like. Somewhere in between and non offensive to all.On the bottle it says it is designed to "reduce and maintain the rate of hair loss". Only reducing hair loss will lead to thicker hair as advertised in the headline! Maintaining hair loss means no difference at all. Time will tell. That said – after washing with this shampoo and then conditioning, my hair does feel super clean and soft. Extra of both. Certainly not thicker after one application! But the bottle says for effective use, you should use regularly – every day or two. So the cleansing result is really nice, and the functional result, and as to whether it's worth its current price tag of £29, will come in time. If I notice a big difference, I will come back to edit and update.

Does make a difference.
This shampoo is suitable for everyone despite being marketed for men. I have an auto immune condition and the medication I take has thinned my hair. This shampoo is great and has worked better than I expected. I just use it as I would any other shampoo, it has a nice fragrance, not overpowering and it lathers well. It is easy to rinse and leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh. This contains 3% procapil which increases blood flow to the scalp to help promote hair growth. Too early to tell yet if my hair growth has improved but it does look fuller and in really nice condition after a few uses.

Far too expensive - it's just shampoo!
This is just shampoo, not a miracle hair loss cure. If someone could invent that, they'd be selling their product for £300 not £30!The scent is fine, neither here nor there. The lid is well designed for use in the shower, as it doesn't unscrew like many others. Instead you just press one side down and the spout opens. A small touch, but many competitors don't do that, and this design is far preferable.Nobody should be making claims in their reviews on the medical 'benefits' of any products, let alone a hairloss-marketed product after a few days or weeks. So I won't. It may be a miracle (doubtful) or it may be snake oil (probable). It may just be shampoo (most likely).

Biotin Shampoo
This shampoo was sent to me free for review and as such are of my own opinion. For me personally, i've always wondered if these shampoo's work. There seems to be a huge market for it and so it must work? or does it?So as i've gotten older, whilst i've managed to keep all of my hair, there has been a noticeable difference in how thick it once was. Im slightly receding, but at 51 i guess this comes with age, and if i'm honest its not something that bothers me that much. However, it wouldnt hurt to try and get some of that youthful lustre back into my flowing locks. As it happens, i get my hair hair cut every 2 weeks and its quite short, but who wouldnt want thicker hair?Ive used this twice a day for the past week and a half, and whilst there much difference to me, my wife seems to think that there is a slight improvement, especially at my crown. Obviously i cant see that part of my head so i'll take it as gospel that my wife is telling the truth.I'll do a follow up review once ive completed the bottle in a few weeks. The one thing i will say is that it leaves my hair feeling quite soft after washing. The only real downside i can say about this is the labelling on the bottle. For a 'premium' shampoo (and this is for sale at £29.99 on here so certainly isnt cheap) i expected the bottle to have the branding and instructions printed onto the bottle. Instead theres a sticker, which to me gives the bottle a cheap looking aesthetic. Its not much to have a niggle with, but at this price point i just expected the bottle to have a better look and not a cheap sticker, which is begging to peel off after just 10 days of use.
