I was so scared to swap it encase my key stopped working but it simple and easy to do. Open your old key and take battery and chip board out and stick in your new one and that's it. Worked first time perfectly.

the product is crap and will only use it now as a spare
Fits together perfectly, until you put the battery in. Also, the key part fits in as it should, however, doesn't fit flush leaving a gap all the way round the curved part. Received within two days, so that deserves 5 stars, however, the product is crap and will only use it now as a spare.
