This toy is a great value at current price of 8.99--appears well-made, and durable, with no fraying ends. I love the cheerful aqua color. I have a 60 lb labrador and she liked it right away. She loves rope toys so this was right up her alley.My dog is not a chewer so I cannot comment on how long it would last with the kind of dog that likes to rip things up. Some have commented that the dark blue twine at the base of the ball (pic 3) is not well attached for that type of dog, so I would suggest removing that with scissors if your dog likes to pick things apart with their teeth. I'll be leaving it there since my dog just likes to carry these toys around, or play some gentle tug with them.I do wish the "handle"/ loop part of the toy were longer so that my hand could be a bit farther away from the part my dog is pulling on; that modification would bring my rating to 5 stars.

This is a medium-to-large size rope chew toy for pets. As shown in the picture, it features thick rope tied into a sphere shape with a loop. Included are instructions to trim off any parts that get frayed as the pet chews it. Although it's a fairly large toy, my 10-pound doggie loves it and carries around the house with her like it's her new little best friend.I removed the darker blue color twine that is wound around the loop at the connection to the sphere because it wasn't worked into the knot like the rest of the chew toy. The knot stays together just fine without the darker twine wrapping, and I would have given this toy five stars if it didn't have that pesky twine wrapping.This review represents my opinion, on the date(s) it was written, of a free product from Amazon Vine Program.

And it doubles as a great tug of war toy as well. The knot is wound super-tight, so it's guaranteed to last a long time.

I ordered this for tug games with my dogs. They both seem to enjoy this toy. I wish that the handle part were a little bit longer, but the toy itself is well made and my dogs have fun with it. It is a rope toy, so it isn’t indestructible, but if being used as a tug toy rather than a chew toy, it should last a long time.

Rope balls are one of my pets fvorite toys and we go through a lot of them. This 3" ball is close to the size of a softball size, is standard rope ball you normally see for dogs. I am using this as a new attachment toy to a dogs flirt pole to chase the toy on the pole. Easy to do with the loop on the ball to attach to the flirt pole rope.

My sister has a Darling dog named Beni and he Likes to Chew. We've tried different rope toys for Keep-Away and they will fray and lose all strength. They go in the trash as we don't want him accidentally pulling anything apart on his own and possibly swallowing any of the rope toys. Beni has Loved playing with this rope toy. Keep-Away has proven to be safer and the rope is so strong. And we even feel comfortable to let him play with it on his own. It's amusing watching him toss it in the air and run for it on his own. Mr Beni can certainly Recommend this rope toy for all in the family, especially himself.
