I like the bag and have no complaints with the quality so far. The zipper could be better but it’s a nice inexpensive bag to keep your cables neat and organized. I use for a set of 50’ solar charge cables. Fits well inside.

This is a pretty rugged bag -- I use it for my EV's charging cable, which is pretty heavy. The bag gets yanked out of places and tossed other places as the car gets continually reconfigured for kids, dog, work, kids AND dog, etc. The zipper is tough, too -- not one of those cheap plastic zippers. Love the bag. To me, it's a really good value for the price.

I spend a lot of time on the road and live so far out in the country that if there's a problem I'm pretty much on my own. Because of this (plus the fact that I've build show cars since I was a kid and prefer to do all my own automotive work) I carry tools and supplies for just about any situation in the back of my SUV. Because of the volume of items I carry I've had to get creative with storage. An Atlas46 Yorktown Tool Roll carries the majority of my mobile tool set, a small military surplus tool bag carries a couple of tow straps, clevises, etc., and another of these bags carries several nylon ratchet straps. These bags keep everything stored neatly and keeps the items easily accessible when needed. The only thing I haven't found a perfect method of storing is my jumper cables. I've been storing them rolled up and secured with some small nylon straps but they still get tangled in everything else plus they just look out of place since everything else is so orderly. Enter the Readywares Waxed Canvas Cable Bag! This bag fits the bill perfectly! My jumper cables are a set I made myself using 20' of 2 gauge welding cable and 800amp clamps and they fit easily. The small pouches in the top are perfect for a flashlight and a Leatherman or similar multi-tool (which I have in mine but isn't in the attached picture). Now I have all my essential items stored neatly and most importantly easily accessible because as we all know, when you need them it will be in the middle of the night in a storm or some similarly unpleasant condition lol! Nice bag for more than carrying cables. Needed something that opened wide enough to be able to see a mix of small items being hauled. The lay flat design is great. Easy access to everything. Pockets are a little tight to put much of anything beyond pencils or something very thin but not a drawback. .

Nice bag. Fit my 4 gauge, 20 ft jumper cables, an ice scraper, a folding shovel, three round emergency road lights, and a couple tools (screwdriver, wrench, gloves, etc.). The canvas material feels very sturdy and like it should last (thick). The nylon strap is a bit thin comparatively, but as long as this is just a storage bag, they should do fine. The zipper seems good quality, my only note is that it should really have two zippers for convenience. Otherwise, really pleased with overall quality and ability to hold a decent roadside emergency kit while being relatively slim and easily stored.

I believe this is one of the best finds I've made since becoming an Amazon Prime member more than 3 years ago. I was really surprised with the high quality and the low price of this bag. I had no trouble fitting my 1 gauge 25 foot long jumper cables in this bag. The cables didn't even fill it. I didn't have to force them into the bag and I had no trouble getting it zipped up. There's plenty of room left for a pair of gloves and a few tools which will fit nicely into the 4 pockets inside the bag and the 3 pockets on the outside of the bag. It would also be great for storing tow straps. I placed another order for 5 bags this time thinking that they would make great Birthday or Christmas presents for the men in my family. I received those bags 2 days later and was just as happy with them as I was with the first one I purchased.

Sharp enough that it's almost a shame to keep it in the trunk. This seems like a buy-it-for-life roadside bag. Using it to store a EV charging cable and a few tools and roadside emergency items like flares. Like the waxed leather in case this has to be used in bad weather.
