Must buy best on Amazon at this price point
I’ve tried 3 or 4 different straps for the Meta Quest, and this one is by far the best I’ve found on Amazon, especially at this price point. The battery is absolutely phenomenal—I can honestly say I’ve never had a moment where I felt I didn’t have enough charge. The battery life outlasts my play sessions, and I find myself needing a break from the Metaverse long before the battery runs out.I’ve even used it for work, connecting my monitor, and it’s incredibly comfortable. The battery pack on the back balances out the weight of the headset nicely, which I’m not sure was intentional, but it works brilliantly. I’ve worn it while doing chores, like washing the dishes, with something like football on in the background, and it’s still comfortable. The strap is decent, and the tightening mechanism at the back is easy to use. It’s worth noting, though, that you need to press the button at the back to loosen it, which isn’t made very clear in the instructions. It’s a clever system once you figure it out. While the lights aren’t a big draw for me, I imagine some people might like the aesthetic. The best feature for me is the battery indicator—you can see how much charge is left, and you can keep it plugged into the headset and charge solely from the battery pack without needing to charge them separately.I highly recommend this strap for any Meta Quest user, whether for gaming or work. I’ve played fitness games like thrill of the fight 2 and Fit XR without any issues. Excellent product—well worth the money!

Forget the official Elite Strap, get this instead!
Within about 5 minutes of wearing the Quest 3 with the supplied strap I knew I had to change it, but when I saw the cost of the official Elite strap with battery costing nearly £130 I thought there has to be a cheaper alternative. And then I found this one.And man, am I glad I did. it's incredibly comfortable, easy to use and generally keeps up nicely with the Q3 while in use. On average use you'll get approx 2 hours additional use of your headset, meaning you can play for around 4 hours before running out of power. However it's worth noting the following. If the game you play is Mixed reality, or a particularly visual or complex game that pushes the Q3, then it's normal for the Q3 battery to not show 100% while this battery headstrap is plugged in. However I would expect this and was not in any way concerned about it as mixed reality gaming consumes far more power.Charging the battery is not quick so it's worth popping the charger on after use to keep it topped up. The headstrap will charge the Q3 at the same time as itself being charged but do keep in mind that charging times will greatly increase while doing so. Also once the Q3 is charged, disconnect the cable to the headstrap, otherwise the Q3 will trickle drain the battery. Unlike the official strap, this will not charge on a the basestation. For portability in a case, it is worth noting that the black backing to the headstrap is larger than the official Elite strap, so fully constructed it will not go into carry cases as it is too tall. But with practice you can easily pop off the back part of the head mount from the battery and then store it in a case. See the photo in my review of how best to store in a case that supports the Q3 with Elite strap and battery. All in all, this product is an absolute bargain, and to pick one up for almost one third the cost of the official model is a no-brainer. It does essentially make a mockery of Meta and their pricing of the official strap.

Happy
The headstrap fits is very comfortable to wear. The battery pack is it leaves two hours extra playtime which is very helpful. You can charge the battery while playing to extend battery life but the charging to the Oculus seems to charge slowly. When done playing I tend to charge Oculus separate and the battery pack separately speeds have charged time I will extend the life about batteries. A very good would recommend .recommend

Good battery life. Keeps up with meta 3 in use. Better than offical battery strap.
I orginally got the offical elite battery strap. Its it only has about a 2500mah battry. It did charge from wireless charge dock, unlike this 3rd party one. But the offical one is showing many faults and I had to return it.Not with this one no issues at all!- Its also much more comfortable. For near a 3rd of the price you get a Nice flush back (good for lying down unlike some of the other bulky ones) and easy to adjust with quick release or fine tune head hold by dial.Lights on the back are useful to know its plugged it/charging via USB c back port. Battery digital display is great too. Lasts 2-3 hours until flat (whilst keeping the main meta 3 to 100% or so) and then the haedset battery kicks in. So 4-5 hours use from 100% charge on band battery + 100% headset before both run dry.Its also well made and doesnt feel like it will break easily at all.Only a few niggles - when not in use its best to detach the usb from the headset and the bstrap battery can otherwise slowly depleat. The Meta 3 doesnt see it as a 2nd battery like the offical elite one - but that is minor as it keeps the headset juiced up anyway. All in all, a highly recommended solution for the price, comfort and build. Certainly better than the £130 elite battery strap!+ It also seems to do pass through charging or at least the charge the strap battery from the back port via PD power and also charge the headset at the same time when also connected. Nice

Comfortable and easy to adjust
I have a larger than average head, always a problem buying hats and caps. Was surprised just how expandable this headset is. Very happy with the purchase 👍

No idea how to turn it on
Update: The battery goes from 100% to 0% in less than 30 minutes. This thing is a waste of money. It only starts charging my headset when I plug it in to a wall socket. The moment I unplug it, it will charge, but I want it to start charging when I connect it to the headset, not just randomly when it feels like it.The other day, I left it on charge until 100% on both, then placed the headset down. A few hours later, it was down to 80% for some reason.Very confusing. Comfortable, but I paid for the battery.
